Inexpensive price compared to competition but you get what you pay for. Cheap towels. Cheap toilet paper. Cheap soap. The front desk had given away my room to wrong party. The management doesn't care when they make a mistake, they basically ignore you or do not try to make amends, they didn't have hour room ready for 2 hours and had to wait even thought we arrived after the checking time. General conditions of the hotel cannot be assessed since it was under renovation. We would have appreciated if we had been warned that the hotel was undergoing such a renovation on its infrastructure. I have stayed here before because the room was truely wheelchair accessible. The bed was not too high as in most hotels and the bathroom had a tub bench. We did not get a good first impression of this hotel because the garage and lobby smelled, but to our relief the room was very satisfactory; i.e, the room clean and up-to-date , the bed comfortable, etc. The hotel is close to the casino and riverwalk mall. If you continue along the riverwalk you can reach the French market and quarters. The only negative […] of this hotel was there was a cleaning maid that knocked excessively (I mean pounded) on our door every morning at 9:30 till we woke up and answered the door. We found that very annoying because she could have easily known that we are still in the room because we have the door latched. Also, it is hard to find a parking in the garage on weekend evenings. "Treated as second class citizens"
I knew legal check in was at 03:00pm. but Arrived with children at aNoon and went walking tourstie things..called several times to see if room was available. Not happening..Came back to Hotel at 2:30 but they made us wait until exactly 03:00pm to get a room I had tired children... I know what they did met all legal obligations..
