The management doesn't care when they make a mistake, they basically ignore you or do not try to make amends, they didn't have hour room ready for 2 hours and had to wait even thought we arrived after the checking time. We would have appreciated if we had been warned that the hotel was undergoing such a renovation on its infrastructure. We did not get a good first impression of this hotel because the garage and lobby smelled, but to our relief the room was very satisfactory; i.e, the room clean and up-to-date , the bed comfortable, etc. The hotel is close to the casino and riverwalk mall. If you continue along the riverwalk you can reach the French market and quarters. The only negative […] of this hotel was there was a cleaning maid that knocked excessively (I mean pounded) on our door every morning at 9:30 till we woke up and answered the door. We found that very annoying because she could have easily known that we are still in the room because we have the door latched. Also, it is hard to find a parking in the garage on weekend evenings. I knew legal check in was at 03:00pm. but Arrived with children at aNoon and went walking tourstie things..called several times to see if room was available.
