Had a pleasant 5 night stay even tho could hear a lot of noise from Burbon St late into the night. Bell boys and all the front desk staff were very helpfull and friendly. Breakfast could improve esp the coffee. Would return.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Loved our stay at Hotel Mazarin"
Hotel Mazarin Excellent Staff and Location March 03, 2013 We were so glad to have found a “special rate” at Hotel Mazarin. It is in the perfect location for walking around the French Quarter. The hotel is very well maintained which shows how hard the staff works (we witnessed this) at keeping everything clean and tidy. EVERY staff member we encountered […] were very friendly and welcoming and I truly felt like they wanted me to be happy to be there. The room was very clean. We had a mini King room on the second floor overlooking the back courtyard with a comfortable bed and down comforter; a mini fridge; a safe, ironing board, iron, hairdryer, bathrobes, magnifying mirror, lotion, shampoo, conditioner, soap and shower gel. I loved the towels. We did have to go up one flight of stairs. We didn’t have any noise issues. The bedside table clock had a charger in it—I think it was USB but not totally sure. Free internet and we found 3 available outlets to use for charging our various electronics. The complimentary hot buffet breakfast was wonderful—hot crispy bacon, sausages, scrambled eggs, grits, fresh fruit in a cup, two types of yogurt, single pieces of fruit, coffee, real cream; and more. Valet Parking was $38, incl. tax. Trying to find parking in the French Quarter is a challenge so just resign yourself to spending the parking fee for the convenience. "in the heart of the French Quarter"
The hotel is perfectly situated near Bourbon Street, yet has rooms available that are adjacent to the courtyards for those wanting a quiet night away from the French Quarter parties. "Perfect location and fabulous hotel"
The hotel service is excellent. We were very pleased with the room and decor of the hotel. Loved the courtyard with founatin. Breakfast daily is very nice and food was hot and delicious, again with great service. Free bottled water in room also. You have to valet park if you are drinving and it is $34 a day. ouch! "French Quarter"
My Brother and I stayed at this great Hotel with all of the Southern New Orleans charm. When I booked the Hotel the desk clerk Caitlin put us in a Standard room with two Queen beds as this is what I booked but another Desk clerk a young female overrided Caitlin's decision and put me in a petite King with one King bed. I explained to her again I booked […] a Standard size room on the Hotels.com website and I wasn't about to sleep in the same bed as my Brother! What happened was I put up a fuss and got my Standard room but the clerk wanted the last word in and said " next time you book a room on Hotel. com clarify the room. Quite rude for a girl who was less than half my age. The rest of the Hotel staff were very nice and helpful . Aside all that I would recommend this Hotel, beautiful room Marble floors. It was the best room I've stayed in and that includes the 4 Seasons Hotel.... Not as nice as Hotel Mazarin.!!!! It is in the French Quarter and conveinant to everything. No need for Car Rental, besides the traffic is pretty jammed up in the city. Continental breakfast included Eggs Benedict, Scrambled Eggs, Bacon, Sausage and the best ground coffee I've ever tasted, fresh squeezed orange juice you name it. "Close to everything in the French Quarter"
My daughter and I stayed at the Hotel Mazarin on New Year's Eve and really enjoyed it. The hotel is close to everything in the French Quarter so it was easy to get to dinner and the sights. We were at another hotel but the NYE price for the room was just too high and the Mazarin offered comparable service at a much better rate. Plus - free wireless […] internet and breakfast were included in the rate. Staff was incredibly helpful and provided great service. After we checked out, we were able to keep our car in the garage until 4pm at no additional cost while we walked around the area. I certainly would stay here again! "Hidden Gem in the French Quarter"
This was our first visit to this hotel. I had not heard of it before so I was a little nervous about trying something new, but it was great! "Beautiful Hotel"
The hotel was beautiful!!!!!! The location was great, only a few blocks from Jackson Square and we were right between Royal and Bourbon. The room was very very very nice and clean.
