My stay at the hotel was horrible. First, I had to switch rooms because the one I was put in originally was filthy. Next, the housekeeping staff took the "Do Not Disturb" sign from inside the room and put in on the door TWICE so they would not need to clean my room while we were out. I had to get get my own clean towels and new toiletries both nights. […] The clerk confirmed this had happened before. The manager told me the next morning that he was very sorry and I would hear from someone within a couple days to help rectify the situation. It has been two months and I have heard nothing. I will never stay at this hotel again. The hotel itself was old but very clean, however the continental breakfast was very little and one day they almost had nothing to serve the hotel guests. They gave room keys to my party plus another couple to the same room. The valet parking was 32.00 a day although they did give us half off. Hotel is in convenient location but service is abysmal. Manager was great but understaffed and many staff who really don't care. When we arrived we were told that there is a "mandatory" amenities fee of $9.95! When we talked to manager he said that it is not mandatory and had cost subtracted. The hotel was very average with below average service. Location was good but the rooms were very bare and they charge additionally for amenities such as wifi, faxes, etc regardless if you utilized them. The only positives about the hotel are its location and the excellent valet service it provides, everything else is extremely disappointing. This was the most unpleasant hotel stay that I have experienced. The description said all rooms have a desk (a large desk according to the confirmation email). When I got there, I was given a room with no desk, no windows, separated from the restaurant/bar only by a fake wall (the lower part of it was some type of foam that I could easily compress, […] poorly shaped and painted over to look like brick), on the other side adjacent to the vending/ice machines, and thus super noisy because of the TVs, talking, and yelling in the bar and the machines. Every so often some loud mechanical also kicks in with a firm buzz for a few seconds to scare you to death. When I went to the front desk and asked if I could have a room with a desk, staff did not show any interest in assisting, did not respond, and finally mumbled things about "no desk supposed to be there" and "someone will bring a desk" (of course they never did). When my two day stay ended, I felt relief. Suddenly I knew what being released from prison must feel like. Do yourself a favor and do not stay here. Read more

I cant even begin to describe how dissapointed I was from the time I walked into the lobby of this hotel. Although the description of the hotel clearly paints the picture that this is a renovated coffee warehouse it also describes it as classy. I arrived at 3:00pm and was told by the front desk clerk that I could not check in early. So my daughter and […] I proceeded to walk to the French Market which was a good 30 min walk to kill time before 4:00pm check in after we had been in a 3hr car ride, we wanted to freshen up but was told there was no early check in ??? we arrived back at the hotel around 4 to check in AGAIN and I waited in line for 45 MINUTES!!!!! with 1 clerk at the desk. There was a line of guest all the way out the door of the hotel waiting to check in... when we finally got to the room, it was old which was to be expected but there were no bulbs in the lamps to turn on, the fan squeaked and wobbled, the beds would squeak and the rod iron head boards were not screwed in and would hit the wall every time you would sit or toss and turn during the night. The housekeeping lady walked in on us without knocking when we first arrived. I asked the clerk was it normally like this with only 1 clerk to attend to all these guest and she stated this was nothing compared to Norwegian Cruise Lines where she worked before so she was not concerned with the line of irrate guest lined out the hotel. Check in at this hotel was very poor. We reserved this room 3-4 weeks in advance on hotels.com when we got there at 130pm we preregistered we we got back at 6 to go to our rooms they did not have what we paid for a single room with 2 queen beds and we had to be put in 2 different room with 1bed not how a family vacation should be. was told in the morning […] we would get the correct room and they would securely move all our stuff for us. that didnt happen either 1pm we come back to the room after walking miles hot wanting to rest we still had no room stuff was still in old rooms and after arguing alittle they finally at 330 gave us a room and it was not as nice as the two seperate rooms. The bath room was very small for a double bed room bathtub was stained black at the bottom needed a good scrubbing.breakfast Continental muffins were dry and stale.They really didn't want to accommodate us for the inconvience of the room issues but after arguing they only wanted to take off the price of one night mandatory amunity fees and 1 night valaparking. The service at this hotel is terrible! When my friends and I checked in, they gave us a single room instead of the double for one of the reservations. They gave my friends a room that the hotel clerk said had 2 king size beds, but when my friends and I went to their room - the beds were queen size, not king! I called the front desk to ask them about […] the beds, and they insisted the computer said that room had king size beds. I told them I was looking at the beds & they were not king size, but they kept insisting the computer was right! On top of that fiasco, my room had a dirty ice bucket, used glasses, and trash cans that were not emptied. One of my friends ended up sleeping on a rollaway bed for two nights. Overall, the staff was rude and not very accommodating. I will never stay at this hotel again, and I would highly discourage anyone from staying here!
