I've stayed at the Chateau Lemoyne many times, and it has a great French Quarter location with affordable prices. I recommend a balcony room if you are in the mood to splurge. "Made a wrong a right"
Booked room w/balcony, 4 adults & purchased "breakfast included" for extra $23.00. Upon arrival I was given a voucher for $20. toward breakfast. I didn't pay attention to the voucher, just tossed it aside until breakfast the next morning. It was then the amount caused me to question the staff at the front desk. I explained that I had purchased a voucher […] for "breakfast included" for 4 people & the $3.00 difference in purchase price & value. I provided confirmation & yet intially the staff did not want to honor the breakfast purchase. However, once management was made aware, they did in fact honor the purchase & was quick to review description on hotels.com. Hopefully this will be more clearly in the future. Very nice hotel close to the action of Bourbon street, but far enough away to be quiet at night. Rooms very clean and comfy. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The only parking available is valet parking. There is a daily charge and it is dependent upon the vehicle size, but the only ones with access to this locked, secure lot are the parking […] attendants. In my book well worth any fees to keep your vehicle off the very narrow streets with a lot of traffic. Unlike most Holiday Inns there is no continental breakfast provided, but they do have a resturant in the lobby or lots of places to eat nearby.
