Perfect location and the staff was very helpful. the rooftop lounge was relaxing but the pool was too cold to enjoy. Big rooms and even a porch you can walk out onto.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
staff very helpful and caring.air conditioning in room did not do a good job of cooling. refrigerator setti ngs were incorrect getting items too cold.toilet flusing a challenge.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Weekend for the Saints Game"
Lived up to our expectations, staff was great, one of the nicer Holiday Inns Ive stayed in...better than you would think and the location is awesome, awalking distancce to bourbon street and the superdome...great choice good value....Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great place to stay for Saints home games"
If you're in town for a Saints game, this is a great deal and a nice hotel. Also not far from the nightlife areas of the city. Ampersand is just around the corner. The restaurant in the lobby is a little pricy for what you actually get and there's not a whole lot of eateries close by, but the staff is very accommodating. Definitely recommend.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"close to public transport"
Convenient location. One conciege (older woman) was not at all helpful when I showed her the voucher offered by hotels.com Eventually told me I could print it out in the Business centre. Other staff very nice. Had a lovely breakfast onsite - not included. Trolley very close. Neighbourhood seemed a little bit seedy but had no trouble.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The rooms were clean, but the hotel seemed to be undergoing a lot of maintance. The room key cards were finicky. I commonly had to insert the key 5 or 6 times to get the door to unlock. Nice outdoor pool, a nice 20-30 minute walk to the french quarter.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good service but the room can use a facelift!"
The bathroom and the beds are in need of upgrades. The hotel is a good value for a Saints' game but that's about all I would recommend it for.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Hotel just renovated. Location good but not the best since you can.t walk to major tourist attraction but it's ok. In general staff of the hotel were nice and helpful except at the restaurant. Let's say they could improve there. Even tough the room seem clean there were a lot of small ants on the carpet floor. So not really nice. Nice pool on the rooftop […] but needed some heat, it was pretty cold. So in general the stay was Ok. I stayed for 2 nights so it.s not a bad hotel but i would probably choose another hotel next time. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
The hotel is older but renovated. Nice. My only complaint was the A/C whined most of the night which made it hard to sleep. I'm sure it's just a maintenance issue and I let them know.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Comfortable, close to Activities, reasonable price"
We stayed just one night. Employees were very helpful and accomodating.Genuine Expedia guest review
Loved our stay. Hotel staff awesome. One small problem for us was location of our room: could hear pool noise well into the night. But overall, would recommend and will definitely stay again. Thank you.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
They were doing work on the hotel but it didn't interfere with our stay. The main problem was that many of the channels didn't work on the TV. As a sports fan it's very upsetting when ESPN doesn't work or even a basic channe that the basketball game was playing on. Other then that the hotel was great.Genuine Expedia guest review
We Like to walk so everything is close, but if you don't the street car line run right outside . Still a quiet room and larger than some of the ones we've stayed at in the quarter.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great stay, Great price, Great location"
We only stayed one night and the whole purpose of the trip was to take in some of the sites of NOLA. The walk to the Superdome was 10 minutes, maybe, and 15-20 to Bourbon. The hotel was great! Very quiet and easy to get to quickly off of I10. Check-in/check-out was quick and easy and the staff was very attentive. I loved being able to park in the deck […] I side of the hotel. The room was very clean and very big. I will use this hotel again! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Hotel was in a good location but not great. Easy to walk to Canal street. You can tell it was an old renovation b/c the bathrooms are very small. However the renovation was done very nicely. Rooms extremely comfortable with refrigerators, microwaves, coffee. All rooms have balconys which were a nice feature. Is a little noisy since you are in the medical […] district so expect to hear a few ambulances, but probably not nearly as noisy as if you were in the French Quarter. Would stay again. Room service was quick but food was only OK (i ordered a dinner). Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Clean and friendly"
A bit away from restaurants and clubs, though a street car is about 2 blocks away. Broken ice and soda machine on the floor we were on. Bartender is great! Staff friendly and clean rooms.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great hotel for New Orleans stay"
The hotel staff were very courteous & it is only a short walk to Bourbon Street or Super Dome or Arena. You can park in the parking garage & not have to drive again until you leave town, yet it's not right downtown for all if the noise & crowds. Very comfortable hotel stay! I would recommend to others.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Hotel problems at a bad time!!!!!"
Unfortunately several parts of the hotel were not functioning well. It started with our toilet which they tried to fix and cracked it doing it. Therefore, after 2 days in that room, we had to pack up and move 8 stories up. Then, with a hotel filled with people for the Womens fFnal Four and several other events in New Orleans, they began work on 2 of […] the 4 elevators which did not make it easy to get to and from our room. Then they started work on the third one and we were down to one elevator for the whole place. Not easy to get where we needed to be. Then when I went to print our boarding passes in that special area just for that, one of the 2 computers was not working so four of us had to stand in line just to use the only one that was working. Other than that, the food was great and the stay was good!! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Great Quality Great Price"
Everything about my stay was wonderful. Great location, staff, and service make this hotel a must if you want a wonderful New Orleans vacation without a huge price tag.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The only complaint I have is the extra charge for parking. I think if your staying at their hotel you shouldn't have to pay for parking.Genuine Expedia guest review
Hotel experience was good overall. The hotel was really warm. One of the elevators went out therefore it took a while to get up and down.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Nice place to stay with the kids"
The stay here was very nice. It was a good location from the French Quarters and all the sites. We walked everywhere we went. The staff was very nice. There was some construction going on in the driveway of the hotel, but besides that it was a very good stay. I would definitely go back.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Brought a High School rugby team to NOLA. Hotel was walking distance from Amtrak (8 blocks) and also from Bourbon Street. Very convenient location.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Hotel staff was excellent, everyone was nice and very willing to help us with anything we needed. Rooms were clean and they even have a manager personally check cleanliness behind the cleaning staff. Would definitely stay again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Hotel okay, but impossible to get to!"
New Orleans has entire streets closed down in and around the hotel, so be sure to have GPS because we had to take several detours just to make it to the hotel. The hotel itself was nice. The only thing I didn't like was the 6 little pillows they have on the bed! I'd rather have 2 full-size pillows than those little things the size of throw pillows.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good for families."
Great hotel and location to Superdome, French Quarter and Medical Schools. Very nice. Would love to have had a Queen size bed instead of a full, though. Great decor and nice size room. My daughters loved the reading lamps attached to the bed. Lots of plugs for all our devices. Was surprised to see fridge and microwave. We had a great room overlooking […] the heated pool, which I eyed with worry about potential noise as we go to bed between around10pm. Of course, some young men came 10 minutes before the 10pm pool closure and were loud and cursing. My husband spoke to them and I called the front desk at the same time. The front desk said they would send security to talk to them. The boys left so I don't know if security was needed but it seemed they would be responsive. The front desk and staff were very friendly and helpful during all parts of our stay. Front desk gave coupons for free meals for my 10 and 7 year old children which was great for breakfast. Nice breakfast buffet. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Mardi gras hotel"
Hotel was nice. It was not very close to bourbon, yet still walking distance! Streetcar breakfast was very filling. Beware this hotel, like some others, charges around $26 a night to park there.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Rooms were nice"
Looks like this hotel had a renovation. Which is nice. Everything was fine. No problems except the remote didn't work but maintanence fixed it with in a half hour. Hotel was clean. Room was cool and had a balcony. The front desk staff could use some friendly lessons. Other than that it was a nice stay.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
""comfortable, decent location, good food""
The hotel was located near the superdome, but was about a 20 minute walk to Burbon street, which was fine for me because I was there on business. the hotel was quiet, the room was very comfortable and the layout was great.there was a great desk and area to lounge while I did some work. parking was expensive, about $28 a day. the staff was helpful but […] room service delivered breakfast earlier than I requested, and came when I was in the shower, causing me to re-order. my only major complaint is that the elevator was extremley slow, and I had to wait about 10 mins to get on an elevator on the 10th floor. they say this is being renovated however. overall, I loved my experience, and would stay there again unless I wanted to stay closer to the french quarter. "Lots of construction!!"
Great location but this hotel is surrounded by city construction getting ready for the Superbowl. We had to endure Power outages on our last day. Mattress was a bit dated. The staff was very helpful at check-in and throughout our stay. No Valet-just self park for $28/day w in/out access. Overall- quiet, nice and clean.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Two of the four elevators were out of service for the entire stay-4 days. Lines would form and there was a long wait. Very frustrating. On the other hand, ALL of the employees that we encountered were very friendly and helpful.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Noise from balcony doors"
Overall, we were very satisfied with our hotel. It is located within walking distance of the Super Dome, shopping, and great restaurants. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Our biggest complaints are sliding glass doors and the elevators. Even though they are updating the elevators, they are SO slow. It took quite a while to get an elevator. […] Worse than the elevators were the door to the balcony. They do not block any noise from the outside. In downtown New Orleans, this is a problem. People talking, music, car horns, car noise and every other noise can be heard. This kept us up most of the night. We will not return unless the doors are replaced. "Very nice staff"
Hotel was nice, staff was friendly, everything was overall great except for them only having two working elevators for an 18 floor hotel that ran very very slow. We were in own for the saints game and like most people staying there we had to wait for four rounds of he elevator coming to our floor to be able to hop on. It took about 30 minutes just to […] get to the first floor. But overall we had a great time and enjoyed our stay. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Customer Service needs an upgrade!"
The hotel has been nicely updated. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff seemed nice enough during check in. I did request extra towels when we left the room on the first day. (It's so hot and humid you may need extra showers). When we returned, the room had been cleaned, but there were no extra towels and my note had been thrown away. Also, […] we were told that the hotel could assist us with shipping items back home and that they had a shipping center in their business office. On the morning that we were leaving, I stopped into the business office to see what the process was for shipping. The receptionist reacted as though I'd asked her for a inappropriate favor. She seemed very put off. She didn’t seem to know what we were talking about and kept repeating that she had shipping forms. Finally we asked if she had boxes. She reluctantly got up from her seat and went to look. She returned with 2 of the smallest boxes that I'd ever seen. We asked the other clerk about a local post office and she provided directions. We then had to make a long 4 block walk to the post office in the middle of lots of construction and closed roads. I understand that consumers have gotten used to lackluster service. I do not accept bad service for myself. I also work in the Quality Assurance field. The receptionists' attitude was both unprofessional and downright rude. Overall I was please with the room, but would probably skip this hotel and stay somewhere more central next time. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Parking is expensive, but typical for NOLA. The rooms are clean and people are very nice. Luggage loading carts are a bit difficult to maneuver. Bed and pillows were clean but less comfortable than home. Overall a nice place for the price.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Very good hotel for the price"
I had a very good experience. Very clean room, nice beds and clean bathroom. Everything in working conditions. Very good A/C (temperature was 90 degrees outside). Very efficient room service.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great hotel when staying for events at Superdome."
Excellent location for events at the Superdome. Only drawback is that the restaurant closes fairly early and there is nowhere else to eat in the area. Also, no convenience or drug stores in the area, either.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Mostly very good"
It was a lovely place to stay; only two complaints and they are (1) that we had to pay $25 per day for parking, and (2) no free breakfast. There was a small but nice restaurant on the premises that was not outrageously high priced. We would stay there again but try to find a close place to park for a little less!Genuine Expedia guest review
"Good hotel bad guests"
The worest part was the guests around you. They are very noisy and not polite at all. A good hotel without good quality guests.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Dream Hotel Room and Desk Clerks"
The hotel was very nice. Juanita, one of the Desk Clerks went out of her way to assist me with my daughter-in-law, who is paralyzed on her left side. the breakfast buffet was one of the worse I have ever seen displayed. I tried eating several of the items, but none of it was tasty. The meat and bread was hard, the grits and oatmeal was dry. We finally […] gave up on eating any food other than an apple which, of course, we still had to pay for the entire buffet. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Ok hotel, not too far from the quarter."
This hotel has been renovated. Our room was nice but showing its age. We had a balcony but the door was an absolute bear to open. There is road construction on the street out front so it is somewhat hard to drive to unless you know to go in the back way. Very hard to get a taxi to the hotel on Sunday night. We walked to French quarter during the daytime […] with no problem. We parked in the hotel lot only to find there was a public lot out back that was way cheaper. If you are there on a weekend, check out the public lot first. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
