We have included all charges provided to us by this hotel. However, charges can vary, for example, based on length of stay or the room you book.
"It's New Orleans!"
Great location near restaurants but that's NO. Rooms are clean and good water pressure. Average room. Nothing special. Don't get near the elevator- sounds like a freight train coming through with every passenger.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"View worth the money.."
I expected the room to be a little bigger, but the staff was friendly and it was in the best possible location to the Quarter and especially Bourbon Street.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

One complaint. Could not park at hotel for two days do to not enough parking. Should have a parking spot for each guest. So, we had to pay an outrageous amount for parking another lot till there was room for us to park at the hotel.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Enjoyable"
Great staff and wonderful location. Little pricey but when you stay on the parade route and that close to everything, you have to expect to pay more.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"extremely noisy, needs renovation"
We had teenagers party in the hallways both nights until 6-7 am while we were there. security came once after we called but made no difference. i understand that New Orleans is a "fun" town but a hotel of this class cannot allow such a noise level and behavior. unfortunately, this is probably the worst hotel stay of my life.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Perfect location in NOLA"
Very good hotel and unbeatable location. It's a very large hotel so expect crowds during busy periods. Only valet parking and can take a while to drop and retrieve your car. Elevators very efficient but noisy (you can hear them from the rooms).Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Thanksgiving in NO"
Location was fantastic- right on the edge of the French Quarter, and a short walk to the Superdome. Facilities were excellent and all the staff were very courteous. The only caveat if you are coming to NO is timing. We stayed here the weekend of the Bayou Classic (Southern vs. Grambling). The Saturday following the game on Bourbon street was an absolute […] zoo. Not just crowded, but LOTS of very "thuggy" looking young men. A local explained that the gang bangers from the surrounding projects mixes in with the tourists. The next night we went and it was an entirely different atmosphere. We want to go back someday, three days wasn't enough. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Stayed here before"
We have stayed at this hotel before and like it a lot. This time however we were not very happy with the parking situation, they did not have parking for paying hotel guests and we had to park 8 blocks away in a pretty seedy neighborhood. If we would have know there was not going to be parking at the hotel we would have stayed somewhere else. Hotel […] made no effort to help us. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Thanksgiving with the Bayou Classic Football game"
Great location if one wants to explore the French Quarter and walk around the downtown area. Driving a car was a nightmare. The NOPD forced vehicles on a certain route which added about 50 minutes to travel only 3 blocks. If you travel with a car then probably a hotel closer to the superdome would be a better choice.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great Hotel Great Location."
Staff was great, location was blocks away to almost everything a tourist would want to see. Rooms were clean, a little put out by the $15.00daily Internet fee but small complaint.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The room was nothing like it was described...the plumbing was not working when we entered the room. The only courteous staff member was the older gentleman that helped us with our luggage at check out. I would not recommend this hotel or visit it again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great stay, again."
This was our second stay here. Everything was great. Room was very nice and we had a great view. This hotel is also close to everything in the French Quarter.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Valet Issues"
Overall, it was a very nice stay. We travel to N.O. at least once a year and this was our first stay at the Marriott - New Orleans. Until our final check-out I would have strongly recommended this location to any/all; however we discovered that the valet damaged our vehicle... and, the valet company has denied responsibility and will not pay for the […] repair. Now, the damage was 'minor,' but the fact that the valet cleaned the damage and placed the damage pieces behind my front seats was enough of an action to motivate me to respond on here RE: this matter. This is the first review I've ever given, and again... the Marriott - New Orleans was great; however the valet service alone may prevent me ever returning... sad. "Marriot 555 CANAL ST. NOLA"
although not in the French corner, it was right on Canal St. which is at the beginning of the quarter. The king bed was extremely comfortable, and they have a great Buffet breakfast which could keep you "enjoying yourself" til dinner without getting, well alittle tipsy.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"nice hotel in a good location"
There are two towers in this hotel and my room was in the smaller tower...i think around 20 stories tall. the room was nice and clean, comfy beds, smallish but serviceable bathroom. no safe or fridge in room are the only things i missed. i stayed there with a teenager and she had nothing bad to say about the hotel. parking on site was pricey and often […] a wait for your car to be brought down to you. you were not allowed to go to your car - we needed an umbrella that was in the car. we tried calling from the room to bring the car down (after being told we could not go to the car ourselves) waitied about 10 minutes and the car wasn't brought down and we had to leave to catch a tour....so no umbrella. Within walking distance of many places we wanted to see. The staff was very pleasant and helpful with directions, suggestions for restaurants and anything else we needed.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great for Mardi Gras - Except the parking!"
Great hotel. Marriott does things very well, even with the excessive crowds of Mardi Gras. Our only complaint was no parking and having to pay exorbitant rates to park elsewhere. I feel the hotel should have helped defray the cost ($60 per day per 2 cars = $360 dollars for parking - the city lots were price-gouging due to Mardi Gras season.)Genuine Hotels.com guest review
