The overall stay was very comfortable. Upon arriving we were given a room next to the elevator(only choice per Hotels.com per Hotel at that price). We did not want a room by the elevator. The hotel was very comfortable and convenient to the Cruzan Ampitheatre where we attended a concert (the reason for our stay). However, upon checkin, I was told that since I booked the hotel through Expedia, I would not receive my Hilton Honors Points. I was somewhat surprised but accepted that. I was asked for a credit card to be placed on file for […] incidentals since the room was already paid for. I provided a credit card, the same one used to book the room. Later that night my card company notified me a $25 charge had been made without the card being present. It did not appear to have been made by the hotel, but when I checked out I asked the desk manager if they made the charge. she said they did, that it would take 2-3 days to be credited back and that was their policy. I told her that I did not authorize any expenditure and if that was policy, it should have been stated so when we checked in.
