The hotel was just off the highway and there are several gas stations and restaurants nearby for your convenience. The rooms were large, clean, and relatively cheap. "Good overnight hotel for the middle of a long trip"
We needed a hotel for an overnight during our two-day drive and this one suited us well. The room was able to comfortably accommodate our family of six. The kids enjoyed the pool (albeit a bit small) and the complimentary breakfast was very good.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Curtains don't close all the way."
I was pleased with my overall experience at this hotel. However, my biggest complaint is that the large heavy curtains did not close all of the way. Where they were installed, the track just simply ended and the curtains would only close 1/3 of the way. Only the sheers closed all of the way. During the night, the lights from the city were shinning brightly […] through the window. I had trouble sleeping. The breakfast was pretty good, but they did not offer bacon, eggs, sausage and gravy with biscuits every day (we stayed three nights). One morning there was biscuits and gravy, the next day was sausage and eggs and the next day was bacon and cheese omelets. It would have been nice if all of it was offered every day. They had two waffle makers. In addition, I felt that the room was a little too small, but for the price, it was adequate. It would have been nice if the hotel had had a DVD player in the room. On one evening, I bought a bottle of wine and I did not think to pack a bottle opener and I called the front desk and they did not have one that I could use. It would have been convenient if they had had one. There were many conveniences that I was pleased with, like having a refrigerator in the room and also a microwave, coffee maker, a desk and a small couch and TV, but again, the room was rather small for everything. "Not happy with front desk service."
When we checked in after a 11 hour drive, the older woman at the front desk told me to wait a minute while she was speaking with someone in the back. Then when she did come out, she was very unpleasant, borderline rude, when I asked questions regarding my rate. "Great for the night!"
Traveling back from Florida to Indiana, my kids and I were very happy to be in such a clean, comfy and safe hotel. The staff were friendly and the room was great. Restaurants near by and the complimentary breakfast was satisfactory. Not a lot of space to eat but not uncomfortable either. If you can't sleep through noise, this is not the hotel for you. […] You could hear the people talking through the walls. As well as hallway traffic. We turned on the bathroom fan which helped enough for my children to fall asleep. In order to be called a suite, a short wall was added making the room difficult to use. The king size bed was almost as wide as the wall - leaving 12 inches on one side and 18 inches on the other.
