"More than I expected!"
We got a very nice spacious room for the price! Its not a luxury hotel but I expected a single cramped room for the 2 adult n 3 child booking. It was a nice surprise! Great area too! I have stayed here several times before and have never left dissatisfied. We know what we're getting here: a clean room, free breakfast, and a pretty good location. It has free WIFI, although on this trip I did not use it much. The USA Today was available for free on weekdays. We had 2 rooms for 2 nights. The rooms were nice, clean, and fairly good maintenance. Did notice that one electrical outlet in our room was out of service, and the other one was loose from the wall, but otherwise everything worked. The continental breakfast was nice, not overdone. I chose this hotel because it had a great rate and we only needed to stay there one night, plus it had an indoor pool that I thought my children would enjoy. The hotel has had some renovations (new carpet) and appears to be working on more, which should make it a much nicer place. Our room was clean and pleasant, and the hotel is in a great area with […] tons of restaurants and shopping areas, just off I-75. The TV was an older tube-type television but it worked just fine. We didn't see any bugs or any signs of "critters" and believe me, I looked for them! We used the indoor pool and it was a nice size and clean, although there were no towels in that area and we had to bring ours from our room. We noticed they had recently covered over a nearby hot tub with cement. We were able to get a rollaway bed and extra pillows/towels from the front desk quickly once we requested them. We did not have the breakfast but it appeared to be standard cereal/pastry type things. I've been in all kinds of hotels from the $200/night places on down, and this was far from the worst one I've been in. Don't stay here if you want a ritzy hotel because that's not what you'll get.
