The room smelled awful and was filthy. The shower curtain, walls and towels were all stained. The hotel ran out of soap and when I arrived to check in, the man at the front desk was unwelcoming and took a phone reservation while I stood there, which took about 10 minutes. The first room we had was not cleaned yet and the second room was cleaned but it stunk. We had to evacuate the hotel at 2:30 in the morning for 20 minutes because the fire alarm went off. It was horrible with kids that had been sleeping soundly.

This hotel was terrible in my opinion. Upon my arrival, the first thing I noticed was that the hallways, and elevator were not vacuumed. Our room smelled musty and old. Hotel was very old and very out of date. The room smelled very strongly of mildew and the bathtub didn't drain well. There are NO extras with this room...no shampoo/conditioner, no Kleenex, only 2 towels in a room with two queen beds, etc. In the middle of the day there were people walking around the property with open bottles of beer...not a nice place […] at all. NOT deserving of a 3.8 rating overall! We were reluctant to make the reservation but the low price and decent rating pushed us over the edge...big mistake. There was a dog show so there were dogs in almost every room. I was not aware of this. Dogs barked all night and whenever i walked down the hallway. The elevator stunk like wet dogs because it was raining the whole weekend and i did not enjoy being in the elevator w wet dogs. All they had left was smoking rooms it was a last minute new years eve reservation the lobby smelled terrible the hallways and elevators all smelled like stale cigarettes the sheets on my bed were burned with cigarettes the air coming from the heater smelled like and ash tray thier were cigarette burns all over the bathroom sink and the toilet paper […] holder was hanging off the edge of the counter in the bathroom the tvs in the roiom were outdated and small and the sheets were the cheapest ive ever slept on it made a holiday in look like the ritz I checked out incredibly early after a terrible nights sleep and wouldnt stay at that disgusting hotel again if you paid me 500 a night I should have stayed in my car I would have felt more comfortable.
