The hotel is very nice. Appears fairly new. The staff were friendly and on top of things. The continental breakfast was fresh and delicious. There is a... small bar area downstairs that was quiet and nice to be in. The hotel is located less than two miles from the airport but was not noisy with constant air traffic overhead. All in all a great stay. My only complaint would be the hotel is fairly isolated without a lot of dining options close by. Had to get in the car to explore for food places. With that said the room service menu looked nice and was reasonably priced but I did not order room service. by Bob from Raleigh/Durham on 05/16/13

The hotel staff were efficient with check in. I was told I could call down and order food, and then come down to pick it up after they called to let me know it was ready. The phone apparently was not working properly in room, and after 4 attempts to call "Gallery Host" with no success I finally went down to order and wait. Would not have been a bother […] if not exhausted and ill from travel. I told a gentleman what had taken place and he said something about the portable phone being off the hand set or something. Whatever the reason was, they were all very prompt and polite getting food ready. And went out of their way to be kind. This is second stay in same property and I would stay again. Could not be closer to airport. Can hear the planes taking off, but late at night, not too many. Read more

Nice place to stay. Great breakfast. The only problem I had was getting gas on my way to the airport. Not the hotel's fault, obviously, but it was an issue with location....not a lot of gas stations near by.

Overall I was very impressed with the Hyatt Place. The hotel is gorgeous and the room was very clean. The staff was very accommodating and they even let me check in hours earlier. Yes, the Hyatt is very close to the airport but I thought they did an excellent job with keeping the hotel very quiet.

Planes landing or taking off from the airport are flying so close over the hotel that you're not only hearing them so loud it actually rattles the stuff in the room. Beds are so uncomfortable so it definitively does not help with the sleep. No place to eat nearby so absolutely no reason to go back.

Hyatt Place RDU was exactly as expected: big, functional room with huge flat screen TV, kitchenette, large sectional sofa and a strong shower. Staff was friendly and helpful. When I asked for a BBQ recommendation, the front desk clerk sent me to The Pit in downtown Raleigh 20 mins away which was awesome!

This was probably the best experience outside of a resort I've had, I went to training in Raleigh and this place was great. Nice 720p flat screen with laptop outputs in the room. 24 hour dining was great when I arrived after 10pm (the whole city shuts down at 10pm). All in all a great experience I'll be staying there again if I go to Raleigh.

The staff was friendly and helpful and offered top notch service. The airport is literally at this hotels doorstep so that was a plus. Despite being so close to the airport, the noise was hardly noticeable. Overall the stay was pleasurable and I have nothing but praises for the hotel in general.
