I am rarely impressed with a hotel, but I thought this particular hotel was quite nice -- very clean, very new. The breakfast was good and stayed well... stocked. The staff was very nice and helpful. Actually, this was the first hotel in which I have stayed where the staff knew how to handle a hotels.com or expedia.com booking properly. At every other place I've stayed, the clerk always insists on trying to charge my credit card again, but they knew not to do this here. Also, when we arrived late at night, the front desk was slammed because a bunch of people tried to check in all at once due to a severe thunderstorm outside. In spite of the crowd, the clerk stayed calm and got people checked in fairly quickly. My only complaint is that, for the price, I expected the rooms to have a mini-fridge. The lack of an in-room refrigerator would be the only thing keeping me from staying here again. But more than likely, it will be our go-to hotel for the trip home from Florida. by a Hotels.com guest on 03/31/11
