"Econo Lodge, Old Saybroook"
At check-in receptionist seemed to have no idea how to process a hotel.com reservation. She asked me to pay again because "although you've paid hotels.com, we haven't been paid"!!!! I did not, since I had my printed reciept from hotels.com which says amount paid in full. Took 10 minutes of back and forth before we could attain rooom key. Hotel was just […] ok, on all counts. Room was on the ground floor overlooking front entrance. Couldn't open curtain for daylight since all other guests would have looked into our room. It was one night on a last minute weekend away. This property was lovely and in such a serene setting. After a long day of driving through terrible traffic it was perfect and in walking distance to a couple of nice restaurants so we didn't have to get into the car again. I'd definitely stay there again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
