The Red Lion Wenatchee exceeded our expectations. The room was very nice and the bed very, very comfortable. This was a very nice hotel. The room was big, kingsize bed (that was actually a kingsize bed) a view overlooking Lake Chelan, clean and comfortable. We had a small deck (would be perfect for warm weather) with chairs to sit and watch the water. It was very relaxing and we are looking forward to staying there again in June.

When we arrived on Friday all was well when we checked in as everything was prepaid through hotels dot com, so it was pretty easy. I noticed that this hotel is pet friendly as I noticed that a few guests had their dogs with them. I swam in the pool on Friday and they said it was a heated outdoor pool, but I discovered it was quite cold and had a hard […] time "relaxing" in the pool as I spent most of my time trying to get used to the cold. The next morning, the breakfast that is offered for under five bucks in the restaurant, but you will get much better breakfast up the road at Smitty's as they specialize in breakfast. The hotel breakfast was OK, everything was buffet style in steamer pans, so it lacked any kind of flavor. When we returned to our room on Saturday evening, we discovered that one of the beds in the room hadn't been made as maid service only folded up the sheets and put them on top of the bedspread. The room was clean, but the next morning, when we pulled out the coffee service tray in the cupboard, we discovered they didn't clean it the day before, so we had no coffee or clean mugs, so I had to go to the front desk in myh PJs and ask for coffee and mugs. The front desk was very receptive and apologetic. When we checked out in a few hours, the front desk staff was courteous and there were no costs incurred on our room because we had prepaid, so it was simple and easy and we were out the door, headed to smitty's for some breakfast. Pool towels could not be found, pool gates were locked; maid had to unlock gates, maintenance not around perimeter.
