"A quick Visit back home in CA"
First, I think the manager is trying to cut costs too deep. The mattress on the bed was probably 25 years old. Even though it was a king, my wife and I rolled into the middle of the bed, there was no near the edge sleeping. There are lots of pillows but they are way too thick and it actually hurts your head sleeping on them. My son & I only stayed over night for a basketball showcase. I never heard of the hotel before, & my husband wanted me to stay at another chain hotel which we have always had a good experience with. However, since I was traveling alone, the other reviews convinced me to try it out. "Very disappointed!"
My internet went out 4 times where I had to go down to the desk and they informed me that one router works for 4 rooms. The routers are in a quests room. They refused to call the quest to have them plug it back in because they were not allowed to disturb that guest but they called me when the maintenance guy came to our room to see if he lost his radio […] in our room! The women behind the desk never smiled except one-God Bless her for being a ray of sunlight in the very dark place. The ambiance is very dark. I thought I was in the Haunted Mansion with oil paintings on all the walls lining the hallways. AT breakfast each morning the maintenance guy would mop the floor to the entrance of the breakfast room and put signs all around that said wet floor where someone could slip. This was right at the entrance! He could not do this before or after breakfast? My daughter was with me for 7 days there and when her key deactivated and went to the desk for a new one they played 20 questions with her. Almost putting her in tears. Two days my room went without service. Trash was full and no clean towels. The maintenance came into my room to fix a sink and said he could only do what he did because if he fixed it the right way it would take too much time. Very disappointed! Our 2 day/night stay was very comfortable .. Clean quiet room with comfy bed & pillows. "Clean, but very hot no a/c"

This was a nice place to stay and close to lots of restaraunts. My biggest complaint, and it is big, is the lighting over the vanity in the bathroom.
