"One Night Stand"
I loved the waterfall at the entrance, so soothing after a hard day's work. Employees were helpful. The food was quite good. i had the pork loin, I think. We checked in with my 13 year old for a weekend baseball tournament, and based on the number of kids in the fitness center and hallways, there were numerous soccer and other tournaments going on. Unfortunetely there was a fire in the middle of the night Saturday Dec. 3, 2011. We had to leave the hotel and go to the parking lot. The temperture was in the 30's. Needless to say it was very cold. I was dropped off at the hotel and did not have the luxury of sitting in my car. I already had a cold. Well now I think I have the flu. I am very sick. […] I was hoping that you would comp me a room for a future stay. My other complaint is with room service. I have stayed at this hotel on 3 other occasions. There is always only one person in the kitchen, so they say. The kitchen staff always asks if I can come pick it up. One reason I choose to stay at the Hilton is for room service. "Clean and Like New"
I really enjoyed this hotel the first night, Check in was flawless, the room was comfortable, and I really liked the furniture. I've stayed in hotels with uncomfortable beds and other furniture, so I really appreciated the fact that the bed and desk chair were adjustable. Even the reading chair was comfortable. The breakfast was better than I expected […] for a lobby restaurant also- there were eggs, French toast, and other options available in addition to the buffet. My only problem came the second night. Unfortunately, the room across from mine was being used by what I can only assume were teenagers/young adults using the room for a big slumber party. They made noise and stayed out in the hall for hours. Multiple calls to the front desk yielded ineffectual visits by security, who didn't even ask them to return to their room. I was livid by the time morning rolled around, as I barely slept. Maybe they still have a few bugs to work out with staff, but it is a new hotel and I would imagine if I stayed there again that there would not be a recurrence of the problem I encountered.
