"Cleanness, kindless and renew bathrooms"
Maybe I would recomend this hotel if some little things would be improved because it has a good position in the center. They may be more polite, clean, fix up the bathroom because it has a terrible smellin. Instead up the hotel is beautiful. So only few things and it could be great. "Don't book suite; basic rooms are better!"
After viewing the pictures online, I was quite excited for my first stay at the Savoy Hotel. The lobby, bar, and staircases are quite impressive. The rooms are large, but I have a few complaints. When we arrived, our room on the executive floor was very warm so the bellhop showed us how to use the air conditioning. We left a key in the room to cool […] while we went out to dinner. Upon returning around midnight, the room was hotter than before! The staff came to look at the air, but couldn't figure it out, so they changed our room. While the second room was a bit cooler to begin, the A/C ultimately did not work either. With a heavy down comforter, we spent a very uncomfortable night. In addition, the room that they moved us to was much smaller, without access to the executive coffee room, and they didn't provide a reimbursement. My parents, who were staying in another suite on the same floor, also had a very hot not with a malfunctioning air conditioner. The second night, we asked to be moved to a basic room. They moved us to a room on the first floor which was both a cheaper price and had A/C that worked. Overall, the staff was helpful and friendly, but DON'T pop for the suites! Hotel is in a poor location, not near any attractions on a busy street. When we arrived we were sent away to another hotel for the first night because 'plumbing problems' meant we couldn't check in until the next day. The hotel is nicely decorated but I wouldn't stay there again. The food in the restaurant and bar is appallingly bad. There's very little […] to choose from the quality is awful. One night I was served a chicken curry that was simply inedible. A few chunks of chicken literally floating in green water. I suspected it was off. When my partner told staff it tasted bad and I couldn't eat it they offered me nothing else and made him pay for the meal with no apology that we weren't happy with the food. I went to nearby supermarket to get bread and cheese to eat in my room for dinner instead. The breakfast buffet is OK - same as any other hotel. If you stay here don't eat here. Interior do Hotel é bem conservado e agradavel, porem há falhas que podem decepcionar. Em relacao ao quarto, nao foi exatamente o que reservei (paguei por um "executivo" e fiquei em um "luxo"). Nao seria o pior, porem, o ar condicionado nao funcionou corretamente, o banheiro era muito pequeno e nao é possivel tomar banho sem molha-lo por inteiro. Em […] minha opniao o que foi mais desagradavel e por isso nao recomendaria esse hotel, foi o servico de concierge. Solicitei o servico de transfer que o hotel oferece e me foi informado o valor de 50,00 dolares (conforme o site do proprio hotel); alguns dias depois, quando confirmei o numero do voo e hora de chegada, o mesmo atendente (Lucas) informou que havia ocorrido um aumento na tarifa para 70,00 dolares - 40% de aumento em uma semana? Se isso nao bastasse, durante minha estadia solicitei para a mesma pessoa uma reserva em um restaurante . Ele confirmou que havia feito e que estava tudo ok. Qual foi minha surpresa ao chegar ..... nao havia nenhuma reserva, nem em meu nome nem em nome do hotel....Esse tipo de postura e falta de profissionalismo compromete qualquer tipo de viagem e expoe o hospede a situacoes muito desagradaveis....lamentavel.
