"Looked better than it was"
I chose this hotel because of its location and because of the pictures. Upon arrival it looked good but getting there was very difficult. Although close to i-10, you must exit and then follow the service road back aroubf that was not easy to navigate. The room had a strange smell that I could not identify. Recently remodeled and tastefully decorated. Std King rooms are on the compact side but comfortable. Staff was pleasant and our room was clean Hotel is on the edge of the rough section of town, so this is not a place where you would want to go walkabout in the evening. "A bit disappointing"
Not sure what kind of town Lafayette is, but the hotel wasn't in the best part of it (nor the worst either, but it was uncomfortably close to the "bad side" of town). The hotel was a bit old, the mini-fridge had no temp setting and didn't get really cold enough. "An average hotel"
My family has stayed at this hotel twice while visitng family in the area. The main reason we stay here is because it is about the only hotel in Lafayette with an indoor pool, which is a plus with kids. The pool is smaller other Fairfield hotels we have stayed in but it keeps kids busy and makes visiting in the area more pleasant. The room was fine […] although the bathtub could have been cleaner. "okay"
Our stay was alright. The window in our room was slightly open when we arrived and was difficult to shut. It let in a lot of traffic noise. The beds weren't very comfortable.
