With the National Institutes of Health and the National Naval Medical Center, healthcare is a major industry in Bethesda. But this Maryland city also has a creative bent. Art galleries, dance studios, and theaters radiate from Wisconsin Avenue, the main artery of the Bethesda Arts & Entertainment District. Sculptures grace many downtown squares.

"Soft Bed and pillows loud locks"
Way, way to soft. I could not sleep at all. Also, the pillows had no support, your head just matted into them. The bed just sunk around you. When you sat on the edge, the top of your thigh was in line with the top of the bed.. Then the door locks were so loud on all the rooms. I guess most hotels are like that, but they seemed louder here. You could […] not even hold the door and close it silently... Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good if you can get a deal"
This hotel was much less expensive than staying at the other Marriot in Bethesda. It's not in an area with anything to do if that's what your looking for. Amenities are typical. I'd been told they have Tempurpedic beds but that was pure hogwash. It's your basic Marriot Hotel, nothing more, nothing less! One annoying thing is the $10-15 per night parking […] fee since you are just parking in an insecure outdoor lot. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"OK"
Second floor rooms on east side of building were noisy from either ventilation fans or running water. Were told changing rooms was not an option. The digital television programs were unwatchable. Was told that parking over weekend nights was complimentary but charges for two nights were on our bill. They were removed upon request, but shouldn't have […] to have to concern ouselves with it. Hotel is OK. I would return but would get a room on an upper level. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Nice hotel, Horrible customer service"
The hotel it self is very nice, very clean and very easy to navigate to. However, all the wonderful things about the hotel were over shadowed by the very rude attendant. Courtenea was her name, she didn't smile, didn't great us with kind words and instead of requesting another name the reservation could have been under, simply replied "well your not […] staying here." Regardless of how nice a place can be, if the service is poor then so is the stay. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not too satisfied"
The hotel does NOT have wireless Internet in the guest rooms. Wired LAN is not free either, it is a whooping 12 bucks a day. Very disappointing for a "business" hotel. Parking, which is outdoors, is another $15 a day. No fridge in the room although you can ask for one. The heater is very noisy, it almost bothers your sleep. The room is clean and the […] service is good. Still, I cannot say that my stay was a good one. I probably won't go back there. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Marriott North Bathesda"
Overall the hotel was nice. However the bathroom was in need of renovation/updating. The bathroom counter had huge cracks in it and a portion of it was very unleveled.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
