"Needs a lot of work"
The hotel was under new management, but it looked as though they are deglecting the upkeep. There were items left in the bathroom from the previous guests. Not the best thing to see first in the bathroom. The TV's were old, but worked. The pool needs a lot of attention, but the river is just down the road... I suggest you plan on swimming there - it's […] much more fun. The location is awesome, so I hope the new management changes this place around. Won't return until I'm told it has gotten better. Hotel smelled gross. Pool and hot tub were filthy. We found a dirty pair of panties in our room. This place is called a "resort". Maybe in a third world country, but not in Texas...Genuine Hotels.com guest review
