"Good, Safe Choice"
I was very impressed with the courtesy of the staff over the two night stay. I did notice a couple of minor problems, one of which was resolved quickly. The curtain pull rod came off the blackout curtains Sunday morning; I told the desk staff about this and it was fixed by the time I came back to the room that afternoon. The other problem was not corrected […] - there was a lamp located behind the TV with no on/off switch. I told the staff that we could not turn it off without unscrewing the lightbulb. They did not correct this problem, but it may have been a matter of the lamp being plugged into the wrong wall outlet. I could not reach the outlet without moving furniture, so once again I unscrewed the bulb that evening. The hotel has a very nice hot breakfast included in the stay, and they change the menu daily. "Not as advertised"
The room we booked was advertised as having a sleep number bed and an iphone dock, neither of which were in our room. The room was otherwise clean and quiet. The TV was to the side so you had to turn a funny way when you wanted to see it. Would recommend, just check with front desk to make sure the rooms is as advertised.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"The Wedding Singer"
Our band was in Allen to play at a wedding reception. The Hampton was very convenient to the country club, and a nice oasis before and after the gig.
