"lodge at chalk hill - beautful surroundings"
This motel is on a large piece of land and very wooded. I was there on a snowy night, arrived late. The room is very basic, not much tv, and no wireless. Does have refrig/micro. "Lodge at Chalk Hill-rustic lodge in the mountains"
As it is a "lodge" and not a hotel or resort, I wasn't expecting posh accomodations. It was rustic, but clean and the check-in, maid service and continental breakfast were fine. You can only get Wi-Fi in the hotel lobby or deck area as it's not available in the rooms. However, the deck is a large open area and very nice to sit on while using the computer […] and drinking a cup of coffee or soda. The property is older and smells a bit musty when you first get in to your room. However, all of the rooms have nice patios and when you open the sliding glass door for a few minutes, the room is aired out nicely.
