No internet...this was for me the worst. I take classes online, train in the area and must maintain contact with work through emails for assistance. Had absoultely no access to internet. It advertises internet, yet none in the room, not even the lobby area. Every time I stayed there room would lock me out on second day, having to go down to the desk […] every day to be rekeyed is frustrating, especially after working and coming in late. "Quiet, yet not for from town."
I wasn't happy about not having internet. I use the hotel often and keep hoping they will get internet since they do advertise it. The room served it's purpose. It is conveniently located off of the interstate. Although it was about five miles from town, I chose this location because it's quiet and an easy ride to town. "Pleasantly Surprised"
After reading all the negative comments regarding the motels in Gallup, I was relieved to find a room which wasn't dirty or well-worn. And despite all the complaints about train noise in other comments, I left my window open and was unbothered. I arrived early and the check-in clerk had to wait a few minutes while my reservation information downloaded. […] (He said that the cloudy weather was impeding their satellite feed.)
