    As in the other reviews, this is an older hotel but I loved that it was in walking distance of the main casino and was QUIET. We had pets and they were... comfortable as well. The rooms were very clean, well-kept and everything worked. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. We actually booked only 1 night and had to extend at the last minute. The hotel staff made it happen and we were able to stay in our original room. Because it is an older hotel the rooms are not as spacious, but the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom facility was sufficient size. We will stay again when we bring our pets.     Situated in Sparks and offering easy access to skiing and other winter recreation, The Courtyard at John Ascuagas Nugget is close to Victorian Square, Fun Quest, and Wild Island Family Adventure Park. Also nearby are Sparks Heritage Museum and Sparks Marina Park.

    Hotel Features.
    After a day on the slopes, indulge in a treatment at the full-service spa or soothe your muscles in the spa tub. Getting to the slopes is a breeze with the hotel's ski shuttle. Conveniences like ski storage and shopping on site allow you to spend less time with logistics…more time on the slopes.     The whole place is run down, the rooms are floral to the 10th degree and the bed is below avaerage. A below average hotel for the price indeed. The A/C unit sounds like a dump truck and will wake you from a shallow and light sleep everytime it engages. When I checked in a quest was complaining about something and ask for it to be repaired or to be moved, […] once I got into the room, I realized what she was complaining of. Stay here if everything in Reno is booked (my situation) other than that, save your money and put it into the slots or tables. Read more
