"Perfect location all we do"

"hotel expectations"
I booked this hotel with the expectation that there was transportation to the Broncos stadium, which I confirmed several times over the phone per the reservationist. Much to my dismay, upon arrival I notified the front desk i would need transporation the next day to the game, and was told they did not offer this. I will not stay here again, as the staff […] are unaware of what they offer and do not offer. I confirmed this several times over the phone before securing the reservation. I ended up paying $30 to park and had to leave 5 hours before the game to secure a parking space. The hotel was nice, but the overall operation of the system information was not well informed. Response by Sheraton Denver West Hotel and Conference Center Our hotel cannot offer shuttle service to Mile High stadium (traffic in that area would make the trips take too long and then the shuttle couldn't be used by other guests), but we are delighted to say that the brand new W line of RTD's light rail will open April 26th of 2013!!! This light rail will go from our back yard directly to Mile High Stadium!

The owners of La Cave restaurant offer oatmeal on their buffet daily (it's in the pot at the far right of the buffet and might not have been seen). It's delicious and they use a steel cut oatmeal so it has a great consisentency! I know that they offer flavored yogurts, but I'll ask if they can feature plain as well. "Worst night ever at a hotel."
There was a wedding party the same night of our stay. The hotel interspersed the wedding party guests with families staying there as well. It was the worst night in hotel I have ever experienced. There were obnoxious guests that were screaming and banging on doors all night long until 3:30 a.m. when the police were finally called. My repeated calls […] to the front desk were ignored. I spoke with several other guests the next morning, all of whom had the same, dreadful experience. I will never stay at this hotel ever again and I plan to write about my experience at every oppotruntiy I have. To add insult to injury the staff was not at all apologetic upon checking out and said they could not do anything to make up for my stay since I had booked through Expedia. "Road trip stop over!"
This was our second stay and there were no surprises, we like it that way. The hotel is comfortable with on-site dining and exercise facility and pool available. Strange odor in hallway of 4th floor and carpet stained. Ice machine was empty or wasn't working properly. Only 2 bath towels in room. Had to call front desk to get towels to pool area. The ice machine is currently operational, but we'll look into that as well. The new Starwood standard for towels in guest rooms is 2 (for water and energy saving reasons). "Great location to many needs"
Great spot for food and some shopping. Just down the street is a place called the "frech press" great place for breakfast. Shopping is just one freeway exit away called the Colorado "mills". The only real gripe I could really bring up is that soda machine on my floor wasnt working so I had to go to another floor to buy myself a soda. Also no fridge […] but you can chill beverages with ice... The staff is very friendly and helpful as is most any place you can go in Colorado. The rooms are cozy, i'd suggest the mountain view over the city view unless you have very clear skies during your stay, due to the fires we couldnt see the city from the elevator windows, but our mountain view was great to watch the thunderstorms roll in. "Needs Attention"
First room, bathroom was dirty. Then discovered that the a/c pan had over-flowed. The carpet in first quarter of the room was soaked & greasy. Response from Front Desk was "What would you like us to do about it?" At our insistence, we were given the room next door - where the lamps each had different light bulbs in them, creating a weird effect! Asked […] to speak with the manager. Told the manager was gone for the day. There was or manager or supv. according to the Front Desk until next day. (This was around 6:30pm) On the 3rd night of our stay, there was a pretty wild party going on in the halls most of the night. Came out at 8:00am for coffee, there was a very drunk young man by the elevator who kept asking me if I wanted to drink with him - he had two LARGE bottles of alcohol with him - as I waited for the elevator. When I went back to the room, I accompanied a young woman who asked if I would go up with her since the guy had been harassing her. She said she had informed the Front Desk, but nothing was done. Thankfully, the guy was passed out when we went back upstairs. Oh, I forgot to mention. On the third day we were there, they blocked our room key. Apparently, someone forgot to make the correction that we had changed rooms, so they decided we were not supposed to be there and locked us out!
