When I arrived, they told me I requested a SMOKING ROOM! I did not request one and I showed them the receipt I printed off from the computer when I made the reservations and it clearly says ***NON-SMOKING***. I am from the Norfolk area, and come back occasionally. I stayed here this time b/c of my great experience last time. I choose this one because of the excellent price and location. However, this time I was disappointed in that when I entered my room, I got hit with "that dirty smell". However, the room appeared neat and clean. I was able to overcome […] that by opening a window and left it open through the night and that seemed to air it out a bit. The bed was very comfortable, as usual. I will give this motel another shot soon as I will be returning and I hope that I don't smell that smell again. Morning breakfast was also impressive for a motel this size. It would be nice if you would add deadbolts to the key card locks. Shower was clean and the faucet and water spicket were spotless. (More impressive b/c I stayed at a much more expensive motel the next night in Norfolk, and I can't say that for them!) :) Read more
