this is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. It was parents weekend at UCLA and there were no rooms close to the campus or I would have paid for another room. The room had no bathroon curtains or frosted window and there was a neighboring office building looking right in! They say parking is included but it is parking you must pay for in a lot a block […] away. There was old falling apart office furniture in the hall. the windows were painted shut. There was no bath mat. The bathroom sink was in the room NOT the bathroom. there was no lamp, no alarm clock, no night stands! The bedspread and carpeting were so dirty. Probably the cheapest place one can find in Beverly Hills. Parking price was ok - $9 a day with in/out privileges. The hotel looks like it was built 60 years ago and wasn't renovated ever since. the bed cover had stains. so did the drape. Del Flores was in need of an update twenty years ago. This was one of the worst hotels I've ever visited and I've traveled extensively. "Not what you would expect"
the pictures on the internet are of only a few rooms that they have actually re-vamped. unfortunately for us we did not get one of these rooms. my feet became dirty from walking on the carpet in my room and the surfaces of the doors and desk were covered in dirty fingerprints and marks from long ago. the cupboard still had a previous occupants empty […] chip packets and unused food in it. when i asked about the other rooms i was told that they are all the same. when i said that in fact they were not due to internet pictures i had seen, i was given an excuse that those rooms were more expensive. my shower which was a communal female shower filled up to the tops of my feet while showering and would not drain. however my partner did not have this problem with the men's. however the inside, the outside is presented lovely and the location is great for transport. i stayed in four upmarket locations on my holiday and payed the same amount for this room as my others. but unlike this one i would recommend the others in a heartbeat. My wife and I needed a bed for two nights when we went out to Universal Studios. This place had the right price and was close to the park. Quick drive to Universal. It was old but we felt very safe and comfortable. They give you a key to a parking garage that houses Maseratis and Porches so no worries about the car.
