"Very nice for older hotel"

"good but lacking"
The room and bed was very nice. However the shower curtain was very odd and got EVERYTHING wet; even had a river flowing into the room. Plus the toilet had some of the base broken off and felt precarious to sit on. Otherwise, over all pleased to stay.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

Hotel and location were great. Condition of the room walls and bathroom fan could have used some maintenance - but it was a smoking room, so those are typically not as good of rooms as the non smoking rooms and I understand that. Front desk service had a little glitch with my prepaid online hotels.com room reservation (could not find me in the system) […] but she got that worked out pretty quick and was just sooper nice, informative and competent for night staff, very good. "Close To Event We Worked"
I splurged with room on Concierge level which I thought would have been better maintained and a bit more special. I couldn't take a hot bath because the tub would not retain water the ac didn't cool down well because ac didnt push cool air and the fact that there was little concern by staff on the behavior of children in public amenities (pool,sauna,hot […] tub) they were hellions and parents wouldn't dissipline and staff didn't want to be involved. The restaurant served great food but service by staff was little at best. Wait 1o minutes to be acknowledged another 15 for service another half hour for meal to come and it was a salad and ice tea. And then never check for more ice tea or anything. Just a major disappointment. Glad I had time to kill that day or I would have lost my temper. It was very nice to have free snacks/drinks in the room, but the room was cold and noisy from the interstate traffice. "3 days in Thornton"
The outside and public areas indicate this hotel has been here awhile. I checked in dog-tired after a day of work, and was not heartened by the appearance. I checked in and got my key card, went upstairs - the card didn't work. I went back downstairs, they made another key, it didnt work. I went back downstairs, the made another key, it didn't work. […] I went back downstairs and the the check in clerk said, you know, maybe that lock doesn't work - I'm going to put you into another room. I actually got in that room on the first crack. I really think after the second trip down, the clerk should have sent someone to accompany me up to the room,to make certain I got in. And the clerk seemed to think it was kind of funny... which at 6:30 p.m., it wasnt. Surprisingly the room was quite well appointed - even tho there was the faint hint of smoke from years gone by. Super comfortable, double sheeted bed with plenty of pillows. Omelette station at breakfast buffet was great way to start the day. Very helpful front desk staff. Plenty of free parking. "Good value"
I spent 10 nights at the Ramada Plaza in the past month. The front desk and Restaurant staff were excellant. The compimentary breakfast with fresh made omeletes offers good selection. However the temperature of the food could be improved, as the french toast,sausage etc were cold. The TV reception was very poor making it dificult to watch the morning […] news, with a couple of lights burnt out made reading the complimentary news paper a challenge.
