"Horrible Experience"
I was woken up by Jack Hammers busting concrete at the lobby of the hotel, went to Manager and asked what's happening and said that they were remodeling the restaurant and that the noise will continue for at least 4 to 5 days. "No way!"
I go to South Beach often for Medical reasons. I try to take a day before to have "fun" We are a party of three. This time so disappointing. After driving 4 hours we arrive ready to sit on the beach or by the pool with a drink and some food for a few hours. The "hotel" which I was later told was never meant to be hotel it is a condo, has no ammenties! […] is not on the beach! We went to our first room with our own bell cart and the room had not been cleaned (we were told later oh sorry there was a wedding group here last night). Trust me are trying to make this work since I paid on Expedia and knew gettin a refund would be impossible, No ice, no blow dryer, no sleeper bed, no balcony furniture , no towels at pool.The noise from outside is insane alllll night long. "It cannot be defined as a hotel indeed..."
Such a low level of service quality can rarely be seen in miami or in the US. There is no phone in the room to call the front desk or housekeeping. You have to go downstairs to ask for anything. In fact, there is no front desk or housekeeping service as much as you would expect from (even a single star) hotel. Air condition is not working; internet […] service can be provided only occasionally. There is one or two guys trying to provide all the services. Service quality can therefore be at best defined unsatisfactory. Matresses are dirty and not ironed. Only two towels were provided even though reservation was for two adults plus three kids. In fact, at most three people can stay in the largest room such as 402; one of them will sleep on an office armchair. "Not a hotel - Should not be on Hotels.com"
This large block of real estate is undergoing renovation, and will be for some time. The condo / "hotel" part is finished and so some rooms are sold on a per night basis. THERE ARE NO SERVICES IN THIS "HOTEL", more like being in a per-night-condo.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
