"Hotel Sense"
We enjoyed our stay at the Sense Hotel. The room was very nice. The staff was very good. The location on South Beach was great. We were in the front of the hotel and didn't hear any noise from the street. We missed having a coffee shop or restaurant in the hotel,but there were plenty of choices right outside the hotel. The only problem we had was […] a party in the hallway around 2:30 or 3:00am We should've called down to the front desk but we didn't. They had a swimming pool on the roof. Very good hotel, biggest disappointment being no fridge in room. Managers said it was damaged a week ago, but no replacement yet. "Tolle Lage, winziger Pool, überteuert"
Das Zimmer ist sehr schön, gut isoliert und gemütlich. Frühstücken konnte man leider erst ab 8.30 Uhr. Mit zwei kleinen Kindern ist das zu spät, wir mussten immer auswärts essen. Das Schwimmbad ist klein und vor allem sehr (!) niedrig. Wir haben im April für drei Nächte weit über 1000 sFr. bezahlt, dazu kommt noch die Hotelresortgebühr und der Valet […] Service (Autoabstellplatz mit Bring/Hol-Service). Very good location on Ocean drive. It is quiet there in the night. Excellent service from the friendly staff. Me and my son enjoyed everything about Sense. The small nice pool on the roof :-) Very close to the beach of course. Do try the italian restaurant just next door, good prices, excellent food and great service there. A lot of restaurants on Ocean […] drive try to pull you in with their 20% discount. Don't let yourself be fooled. It is 20% on the food nothing else so you will probably end up getting a 5 dollar cheaper meal for two persons. Not very impressive. Having a balcony is nice! Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral und max. 1 Min. Fußweg zum wunderschönen Strand. In der zusätzlichen Hotelgebühr sind auch die Benutzung von Beachchairs und Badetüchern enthalten (am Empfang danach fragen). Der Parkservice hat auch toll geklappt, ist allerdings recht teuer - ist aber wohl überall in Miami Beach schwierig günstiger zu parken. "Top Lage"
Dieses Hotel würde ich jederzeit wieder buchen. Eine bessere Lage in South Beach kann ich mir nicht vorstellen: Man muss nur über die Straße gehen und schon ist man am Strand. Und abends ist man zu Fuß innerhalb weniger Minuten direkt mitten im Geschehen in der einzigartigen Atmosphäre des Ocian Drive. Das Hotel hat eine sehr moderne und neue Innenausstattung. […] Die Lobby wirkt allerdings noch etwas steril. Etwas Deko und vor allem Flyer über die Stadt könnten nicht schaden.
