"Customer service seriously lacking"
They put us in a room directly next to construction and made no apologies for it. I understand construction can't be helped, but why then would you place people so close? I asked the front desk about this and she just shrugged her shoulders and said she doesn't control construction. We asked for our car (valeted) at check out at 11am, didn't get it […] until 11:40am. When I asked about it around 11:20, the same girl had no recollection of me asking for it the first time, even though she had asked to see my claim ticket! The best part was when I saw my car being pulled out of the garage catty corner to the hotel! I could have gotten it myself! When I spoke with the manager she claims regarding the construction that they were fully booked, even though we didn't see many other guests there & no one I'd spoken with before even mentioned being at capacity. Regarding the car she said they would refund the $35 (!) charge if we did indeed wait more than half an hour. I have not seen this charge credited yet. On a separate note, the faucet to the room sink (the sink is not in the bathroom, but next to the bed) does not quite reach far enough into the bowl. A nightmare, I got a handicap room, I slipped in the shower , the room was too dark, not enough light, 2tiny trashcans, the remote control didn't work , never got fixed, the fire alarm went off at 3 a.m . Couldnt get hold of the maid it was a very bad experience !!!!Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE EVER"
I stayed at this hotel November 17-21, 2011. Initially, the hotel seemed fine. On Saturday morning, the ceiling started leaking, a steady loud drip. When we told the hotel staff, they sent maintenance up to our room after a more than two hour delay. They purported to fix the leak. However, less than 30 minutes later, it started leaking again. We again […] notified the front desk. It took more than 4 hours for them to send someone and then the fix consisted of placing a bucket beneath the leaky ceiling. WE paid for this room and were severely inconvenienced by the noise of the drip (which was quite loud and steady) and having to navigate around it --it was in the middle of the hallway in front of the bathroom door and bedroom door. "old building with lot of noise"
I chose this hotel based 3 + ratings. I found this hotel to be extremely noisy. I could hear people walking outside and on the upper floor all night. I could also hear others flushing their restrooms. I had to stay for only a night and thus I did not bother to call guest services to discuss. "Riveria South Beach Luxe Hotel Suites"
a.m. The construction that was going on did not work forThe hotel nor the enviroment did not meet the accomodations that was shown or the location. We were also given the room of a handicap, the shower had open space to the door into the bath. There was no screen in the window so no light except for the lights in the room which was only one small one […] in the ceiling. The price of the snack was outrageous. The elevator and hallway were too small enough for only two people without there baggage. There was no parking only across the way which the customers should not have to pay $40.00 or $60.00 if their vehicle was not picked up the next morning by 6 a.m. The construction that was going on did not work for the attendants either for the price they had to pay. "The worst hotel service"
This one is the worst hotel in my life and even embarrassed to consider this accomodation as "a hotel" because of the poor service. Also, the room was too dark and the exterior of the building was shabby. Not like I had imagined by the posted photos. Especially, the service was bad and manager was so insencere. I have a specific explanation for my opinion […] and I think the manager also might know about the issue. There was a little accident in my room. While two women was in my room for cleaning service, the unattached top of dining table dropped and my camera was broken. The manager came up to the room like three hours later and she said she is gonna come next morning and figure out the accident. She never came to the work and have never called us though we left our number. I didn't expect them to pay me back for my camera because the hotel service isn't that nice. (It shouldn't be rated as four star hotel never!). But, at least I want an apology from them.
