Room was beautiful with view of beach, pool, & lake! Just 1 minor complaint & this is my own "cosmetic" issue:)....you may want to invest in bed skirts! As elegant as the hotel is there I know reason to see the plywood under the mattress! That's an eye soar!

It was an excellent stay except restaurant and other services very expensive.really impressed with room size and cleanliness and beach location is also great. Valet service is $29 per night and expensive. There is a public garage within 1 mile which could be cheaper but not sure worth the pain.

I had a king bay view balcony. don't believe the reviews that say its far from south beach. It was a $14 cab or a $2 bus. +: clean room, 2 full baths, beautiful lobby, great view, free upgrade to ocean view. Neg: pricy food, expensive vallet. Much better than fountainblue or other 5* i stayed at. I stayed Dec 4-6 2012.

My stay was amazing the staff was welcoming and the service was great!!! Romantic and family friendly. My 3 yr old loved it. In his words 2 tvs, 2 bathrooms, 2 pools, and 2 hot "pools". Actually there are 3 pools and the beach is right at the back door! Highly recommend!!!

The rooms were immaculate; cleaning ladies did wonders of our messy rooms every day. The pools are perfect for kids. Location to beach is perfect... 1 minute walk. This beautiful upscale hotel is located right on Miami beach. My wife loved our elegant 19th floor suite and its view of the beach and ocean. The hotel and beautiful room was tastefully decorated in white and off-white with expensive-looking furniture and lamps. The suite had a gorgeous white sofa in the living room with a 46" HDTV. The bedroom also […] had an HDTV and one of the most comfy beds we've ever slept in. My wife almost didn't want to leave to go to South Beach for dinner! The pool area and hot tub is nicely landscaped and the beach is just a few steps away. There is also a another adults-only pool and hot tub on the 7th floor. Note the hotel rates are a bit expensive (if you stay there, you'll see why). Also, there is no self parking and the valet costs $29 per day. But they are quick to bring the car around so you can come and go as you please. Also, if you want to go to South Beach, its a bit too far to walk. So you'll have to drive (about 5-10 mins without traffic) and parking might be a challenge. The breakfast buffet is comprehensive but pricey ($25 a person). If you're looking for budget accommodations or just a place to sleep, this is not the hotel for you. But if you'd like some serious luxury and service, you can't go wrong here. I got an ocean view suite for 2 nights for a family of 4. The hotel, the rooms, and the 2 bathrooms in our suite were shiny, clean, and comfortable. The (partial) view of the ocean along with a (partial) view of the Downtown Miami were spectacular in addition to a nice big balcony. My only concerns with the rooms: - LOCATION. Despite of being located […] right on the ocean edge, it's too far from the South Beach, Lincoln Rd, etc. Downtown also costs a $30 cab each way. - Room size: The ocean view suite is not really a suite! It's just a long long room with a partial wall supposedly dividing the two sections. No privacy at all on either side if you're traveling in a party of 4! - Noise: Too much noise from the hallway and the other rooms, especially if your room is close to the elevators! Overall, considering the price I paid, I would not choose/recommend this hotel mainly because of the location. However, if you just want to be on Miami Beach to enjoy the beach - without much traveling to other attractions in Miami - you would be happy with a nice, clean and all-white hotel! Read more

The room was extremely spacious and I loved the bath and a half. The bed was VERY comfortable. We only planned to stay one night before going to our Cruise but I wish I had more time. We are Florida locals but love summer get aways on Miami Beach. We have stayed at many popular high end, larger and busier hotels on the beach, but the pictures, rating, and great price (booked three nights you got fourth free) made us try the Grand Beach Hotel. The photos don't do justice. This hotel is beautiful - everything in it is new and in pristine […] condition, wide hallways, suites have modern luxury spa feeling with two bathrooms, two large flat screen tvs on walls, and a wet bar with a fridge. Although the balcony is very narrow, be sure to get ocean view on the north side of the building. Pool area was cozy - two large condo size pools and two large square jacuzzis in the middle, lots of palm trees, lounging furniture, umbrellas, and a bar that serves food and drinks reasonably priced (great sandwiches and fries for $12-$14) same as room service. Awesome white sandy beach is a two minute walk from the pool area with more lounge chairs, umbrellas and cabanas for $10 rental. They also have an over 18 pool on the seventh floor. The only down side was the restaurant: indoor it has no glam but there is an outside area with tables. For lunch they have a buffet for $25 person, for dinner the menu is very limited and most entrees are $25 per person. They do have lots of restaurant menus in the room that will deliver to the hotel or you walk to other hotel restaurants or take a cab to Lincoln Road for $10 and they have 30 restaurants and stores open till midnight or go to Hispanola Way which is a smaller strip. Valet parking is $25 for 24 hours - that's the average going rate on Miami Beach Hotels. The hotel does not have stores (there are some hotels a couple buildings away that do if you have an emergency), game rooms or gym, but if you are looking for beauty, rest and relaxation, and a good beach, this place is awesome!
