There are a ton of pros about this hotel. The location is great - literally in the middle of a ton of restaurants and bars. You can valet park but since we got in late in the evening, were leaving the next morning, and it wasn't a weekend, we parked it ourselves across the street for some minimal meter parking fee. Our room was comfortable and large […] enough with the stated amenities on the website (e.g., coffee maker, refrigerator, t.v., air conditioning, and even cooking burners). The rooftop pool and view are fantastic and really add to the appeal of staying there. Nice staff who seemed to be hard at work. The one big con about the place is a big one! I knew there was the possibility of street noise given the location, but I didn't expect to experience noise from the building itself. We must have been next to their generators or some other large machine, because throughout the night, there was a really loud rumbling noise coming from outside and in the walls. It's hard to explain, except that it can be incredibly annoying if you're a light sleeper like myself and not to mention 6 months pregnant. Since we got this room with a discount through hotels.com and our stay there was so brief, I could get over the occasional sleep disturbances. However, if I were staying there for more than one night, I'd definitely have to talk to the people at the front desk (who were all really nice and I'm guessing would have been helpful). Read more

We came to Miami Beach for a romantic getaway we found the Congress Hotel to be good in terms of ratings and location. Unfortunately once you got to the hotel we had to wait eight hours to get into our room as we could not check in to our room until 4 o'clock I thought that was unheard of. Then I thought the price that we paid was the total price but […] they added on a bunch of fees. The pool was nice With a great view of the ocean and the beach. The surrounding neighborhood was great although it is very loud if you're trying to get to bed early. Overall I would say it's great for the room and the location and the pool but other than that it is overpriced the service is terrible and you will find that they'll buckle and dime you. Read more

Surprisingly one of the better boutique SoBe hotels. I've stayed at much worse before. Pros: Great location, cool room decor, decent price, right by the beach, breakfast was good, kitchenette was helpful, rooftop balcony was nice. Cons: Service - had to call several times to get requested items, like ice or towels. The hotel is in 3 or 4 different […] buildings and lobby area was not prominent so it was hard to find on the street. No view from any of the balconies and the keys were weird. If you put your key next to your phone or another electronic device, they wouldn't work and you'd have to take them to the lobby to be reprogrammed. Read more

My wife and I have stayed in South Beach several times over the past year, trying different locations each time. By far, this is the best hotel we've stayed at based upon location (central to Everything) and room amenities (esp. kitchen and bath/shower). The room we got was NOT the type we reserved which irritated me at first. Also, we were inundated […] by bad Top-40 music and kitchen noises from the restaurant next door. Nevertheless, the room itself was superb. For those looking to save money by cooking/reheating your own food (ala extended stay) then this is THE place to be since Whole Foods is a 5-10 minute walk away. The "resort fee" includes lounge chair service on the beach (normally $10) and $5.75 credit for breakfast so you actually save $$$ if you "work" all the freebies. Front desk staff always seemed aloof and cold which irritated me more. (...concierge guys were real courteous, though). Overall, I recommend Congress (rooms, location) but beware of the noise...! The hotel was not what we expected but it wasn't so bad either. The room was a bit smaller than how it is shown in the web page. This is a good hotel for a night stay no longer than that because the pool is really small and they don't have much attractions around the hotel. Overall is a good hotel

This is a beautiful place with a European decor great for newlyweds or just a great get away hotel right in the middle of everything on Ocean dr ,south beach. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotels include breakfast in a double cabana right on the beach. Will definitely be staying there again!

This is a beautiful boutique hotel in Miami Beach, EXCELLENT location, walking distance from nice bars and restaurants and the rooms are very very comfortable, however, the service is terrible. I should mention, I went there during spring break and that must have accounted for about 90% of the noise. And it does not help that the hotel is located next to an extremely loud hotel/bar/spring break hangout spot called the Clevelander. Seriously, the place blasts its music from 10am-5am nonstop. Pros: -The room is very spacious, we got the Junior […] Suite at an affordable rate and it came equipped with a kitchen (it even had forks and plates!) and a full refrigerator. -It is in the middle of everything to do in South Beach, everything is a walkable distance from the hotel. -Right across the street from the beach. -A rooftop pool that was open 24 hours! Cons: -Noisy!! It was pretty difficult to sleep some nights. -The service was pretty bad, every time we asked for towels they were "being cleaned." -The rooftop pool is located on top of the middle hotel and we were situated on the left hotel. Whenever we left the pool we had to go through the crowd of people wrapped in our towels. Side Note: -They charge a "daily resort fee" when you get there. It includes breakfast at the local restaurant (which was decent), free towel service (or lack thereof), and free beach chair service across the street. IMO it was worth it anyway, but it's something that is not specified. Conclusion: If you're looking to be in the middle of all the action while having an ample accommodation, this is the place for you. However, if you're just looking for a relaxing getaway, this place is probably not for you. Read more

My husband and I had been to SoBe 5 years ago and loved it, i wanted an Ocean Drive hotel this time. Our room was great, big .. down falls were we were down the alley but thats okay as we didn't spend alot of time there. Loved the roof top pool, ease of walking on the beach and all the great restaurants. We got a great price which to our surprise included […] breakfast at the Atlantic. Negatives, only one set up for coffee for a two night stay and no extra rolls of TP which they immediatley brought to us. Staff was friendly. Will definately stay there again. Read more

Nicely located, but much too noisy. We did not get a decent nights sleep on any night. People in the hotel screaming and partying and hotel staff doing nothing about it. Outdoor noise also, but this can be tolerated and we actually do like some liveliness in the entertainment district... that is why we chose this hotel. But man oh man, the fact that […] people were just carrying on every night till 4 in the morning and the hotel staff was oblivious to it, is just plain bad. Room was very nice and updated, however smelled moldy. Pool area was so/so. I think that we have come to expect this in southbeach. We have stayed elsewhere that was more expensive and about the same. And finally... I have to say that the hotel staff was generally indifferent.. disinterested in being helpful. I tip well, and was truly disappointed except for the fellow that found us a cab on the last day. Here is a message to all hotel staff ... if you don't like people, choose another career. Not worth the money. Horrible wifi, even front desk had problems. The staff was disinterested and unenthusiastic. The furniture in our room was stained. The room service took over an hour both times we used it. The two good things were the comfortable bed and the location. For the money we spent we expected more luxury and service.

Vi oppgradere til suite med begrenset havutsikt og fikk et gedigent rom med flott utsikt mot havet. Rent og pent rom, men ikke luksus. Hyggelig betjening (fikk gratis vin da tak baren hadde stengt tidlig). Perfekt beliggenhet om du tåler litt liv og røre. Det er nattklubber på alle kanter og disse spiller høy musikk til 4-5 tiden på natten. Dette plaget […] ikke oss, men verdt å ha i tankene. Hotellet tar 12 dollar per person for leie av strandstol uavhengig om du bruker denne, parkering er 35 dollar dagen (finnes parkeringshus like i nærheten til 24 dollar per døgn). Hotel correcto en casi todos los aspectos, inmejorable situacion, con piscina agradable en la azotea,sevicio de hamacas en la playa y parasol que junto con el desayuno y el uso de la piscina con coste diarios( los uses o no) pero q con el desayuno solo ya casi lo amortizas....aspectos a mejorar : algunas recepcionistas no hablan español( increible en […] Miami).No hay cuarto de cortesia, aunque si baños amplios en la 5ª planta q hacen las veces, a los q solo habria q añadirles un plato de ducha( hay espacio suficiente) para convertirlos en tal y que fuesen perfectos.Por otro lado te dejan usar la piscina despues del check out q es algo de agradecer tambien. Los empleados unos mas agradables q otros como siempre, entre los mas agradables Adrian uno de los maleteros siempre muy atento. Hotel por lo demas normalito sin defectos importantes y recomendable sobre todo por la ubicacion.
