"Horrible!"
The hotel was so bad we left early. There are many fees besides $35 valet that took 20+ mins. and resort charge that are a surprise upon check-in. It costs $25 if you don't return all room keys and $100 if you check out early among other things. Hotel manager was arrogant and not helpful about our room even though I had requested quiet room on reservation. […] There was loud music from restaurant below, car horns & sirens until 2am. The next day we switched rooms and was quieter, but the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept on - barely a sofa bed mattress. Couch was extremely uncomfortable too. You could feel bar supporting the thin cushion on both. The bathtub faucet had a major leak, you could see crumbs at the base of cabinets, something nasty was spilled on the floor and our room wasn't vacuumed on second day. Horrible experience at this centrally located beach front hotel. The room I booked wasn't the room I was given. Be wary of booking here and of their description of a room with balcony - they do not guarantee a balcony but they take your money for one. "Not impressed for price paid"
Service was not good! The bellboy was sent to bring towels and toilet paper to room. ALL of the beach chairs by the pool were ripped! And they never had towels available for the pool. The pool washroom smelled like urine, was disgusting, and obviously not cleaned in weeks. Housekeeping only came in to make beds and take out trash. "Not impressed with the service"
I arrived at the hotel and was told that even though I had requested multiple times to be as close to another room as possible, I would be in a separate building. The woman at the front desk said I had been upgraded. I walked into the room and it was clear that guests had repeatedly used that room to throw parties. It was trashed. The carpet was covered […] in stains from people spilling drinks. The futon was covered in stains as well. (The room was also supposed to have a pull out couch, not futon). The curtains had cigarette burns on them and the bathroom door was off the hinge and unable to close all the way. The room was also missing several items such as an alarm clock, safe, iPod docking station and blow dryer. The kitchenette area had not been wiped down nor had one of the chairs which was covered in sand still. The refrigerator was also empty and not stocked. Several glasses and silverware were also apparently missing. The room did have a large balcony (which is why I believe it was considered an upgrade to them). However, it was the only balcony without patio furniture. The service staff was not very accommodating either. I had to call the front desk as well as housekeeping several times to get extra towels and sheets for the futon. I was asked once if I wanted beach towels to which I replied yes and never saw them. "Terrible Experience"
Pros: 1. Close to beach 2. Resort fee covers a basic breakfast (3 pancakes) and a beach chair with a cushion and beach umbrella 3. Located centrally to most lounges Cons: 1. They did not have a do not disturb sign in the room. I called housekeeping and the front desk and requested to not be bothered. I eventually got a do not disturb sign, and a young […] man barged into my room at 230pm without announcing himself but was blocked by the chain. Luckily I was awake and he claimed to have been there to refill the minibar which I did not even touch. At this point I went to the front desk and they didn't seem phased. 2. Towels were dirty, walls were stained, white couch was FILTHY, bracket for safe was broken, ironing board was broken. And I was told my room was newly renovated. 3. The door to the retro building where I stayed was located in a relatively dark alley. This door is supposed to only open with a room key but the mechanism broke and it gave anyone access to the elevator- which had no camera. 4. No security here whatsoever 5. Bathtub was stained 6. Housekeepers kept bringing dirty towels I typically do not review places because I tend to agree with other patrons, but this place was terrible. The experience in south beach was great but this hotel was terrible from my experience. Never again will I stay here, especially since the hotel completely disregarded my complaint about their employee barging into my room- unannounced. One knock and he opened the door. "Not so much!"
Bummer! I was traveling solo and the hotel service was TERRIBLE! The location is close to the beach. Loud music from nearby bars can be heard into the early morning hours, 6am. I was overcharged resort fees and got no help or response or warmth from staff when I called to have the money refunded. Nobody could help me. Don't pay for ocean front because it's not really ocean front, More like party front because you get hear the SB strip all night long. "Disgusting and disorganized"
I have given this hotel an overall satisfaction level as 1 because there is no "0" to select. - There were two font desk staff and one of then just didn't care or now how to provide customer service (which means the management just don't know what customer service means). - We stayed for 4 nights and during that time we had to call the front desk on […] several occasions to clean the room, replace our bed linen, provide toilet paper, change our towels, sweep/vacuum the sand off the floor etc. - I insisted on the second day that some one come immediately and they finally send one person who forgot to provide us toilet paper and towels. - We had asked for beach towel and they were out for two of the 4 days we were there. - We asked to speak to the Manager and was told by the desk staff that they didn't know how to contact the Manager (sad but I laugh my a$% off thinking this is a joke). - The restaurant on Ocean Drive is a big rip off and we had bad service as well...one night we waited up to one and half hour for our meals. The Manager at the restaurant said the chef was not satisfy with the meal...ahhhh what about the customer. No food was offered to us during that time and every time we asked the about our food, they kept telling us in a few minutes. I was so DISGUSTED and DISAPPOINTED at this level of service. Numerosi rilevanti problemi riscontrati nella camera assegnataci, ad esempio: pessimo odore di muffa, materasso sfondato, impianto di condizionamento non funzionante, lavandino otturato e molti altri.
