The hotel was in a great location -- on Ocean Drive but not in the midst of all the revelry at night. The beach was just across the street. The hotel... staff was most helpful. We loved the fact that the room was actually a suite and had a kitchen. It was also very comfortable. The only negatives were the filthy carpet in the hallways (which I think they're going to replace) and the toilet -- that really should be replaced too. Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 9, 2012

Location.
The Crescent Resort occupies a coveted location on South Beach's internationally famous Ocean Drive and 14th Street. Here guests will find themselves in a sea of fabulous world-renowned restaurants and amazing nightclubs, where the exclusive boutique shops at Bal Harbour are just miles from the property. Nearby are recreational activities of all kinds, including marinas, boating, fishing, beautiful beaches, great water sports, tennis, and golf.

Resort Features.
Guests of the Crescent Resort on South Beach will find themselves in a place where modern lifestyle and cosmopolitan atmosphere mingle with tropical weather and Art Deco architecture. The distinctive boutique hotel is housed in a former 1938 Art Deco building with a façade design meant to resemble the side of a steam ship.

The resort faces the soft white sands and the warm turquoise waters of the Atlantic Ocean. Guests can transport themselves to the era of classic style lounging in the lobby, or absorb the sights and sounds of the SoBe atmosphere from the sundeck on the roof.

Guestrooms.
The exclusively non-smoking suites of the Crescent Resort sport elegant decor, conjured by the thoughtful, streamlined design of the rooms. Guests will find a fully equipped modern kitchen, where all appliances are cleverly concealed in conservation of the nautical motifs. The bedroom furniture is made of lightwood, and is reminiscent of Hollywood's glamour days. All suites include cable television, CD player, and video player.

The location was what we wanted. There was a park directly across from us and the beach beyond. I was in the foyer waiting for someone to attend to our check in for almost 25 minutes and I was the only person there. There were 4 us in the room and each day house keeping would supply the wrong amount of toweling stock. The compendium in the room we had […] was of very poor quality photocopying. Brochure info is abundant and there is a touring agent located in the foyer. Lots of dining options immediately next door and there is a starbucks a couple of hundred meters away - thank god. In my opinion the locality would suit the 19+ year olds and not my young 13-15 years olds. There were a few eye opening moments for their young eyes for sure. Read more

We had two nights on the Crescent Resort, two adults and two kids (11,15) as a start of a longer Florida vacation. The hotel itself is a standard hotel, but the room was larger than expected with all facilities needed, including WiFi, and also possibility to loan beach equipment (mattresses, umbrella et c). The location is perfect if you want to take […] part of where everything happens in Miami Beach. Ocean Ave with all the bars, restaurants and shops. Hôtel très bien situé pour un séjour repos à la plage mais très bruyant. Pas de double vitrage on a constamment l'impression que les fenêtres sont ouvertes tellement on entend le bruit de la route!! Etat général de l'hôtel moyen. Ménage quotidien plus que succinct !!!
