While we enjoyed the hotel overall, the South Beach Hotel could certainly use some updates, starting with double-pane windows. We could hear everything... that happened in the courtyard as though our windows were open. We could not hear any of our neighbors in the hotel, which is why I think it was just the old-time windows allowing the noise. Another update I would have appreciated would be serving complimentary coffee and tea, as most hotels now do (if not in the room, then in the lobby).Still, our room was clean, our bed was comfortable, and the front desk staff was very friendly and helpful (gave us beach towels, got us to the right bus, etc.) by a Hotels.com guest on 01/31/13
