"Dated but okay."
The room was pretty clean but very dated. There was different color tiles in the bathroom where tiles have been replaced, the grout was kind of dirty and old. They don't leave you any shampoo and conditioner in the room, the towls are small and there are only a couple of them in the room. There is a youth hostle in the hotel that I did not know about, […] and a shared kitchen, it did not bother me, but to some familys it might bother them. They did let us put our luggage in a locked closet in the lobby on the last day so we could go to the beach. It is in a good spot that was about 1/4 mile to the beach. "$20 deposit for room key and tv remote"
I stayed here because it was close to my meetings and stayed under my per diem rate. My room faced the parking garage next door, where car alarms and people shouting went on throughout the night. The bed sheets had distinct makeup stains of women's lipstick which remained all nights I was there. Other than that, the room was minimally furnished. No […] ironing board or iron, no directory or travel materials, no hotel instructions or phone numbers. I could hear guests in other rooms and heard one guest yelling in middle of the night for people to shut up. Parking is available at the garage next door for $16/day. Bring $20 cash for the deposit at the front desk for the room key and tv remote. The room key had a large metal rod attached to it so it was a pain to lug around in my pocket. "Our experiance"

The room was supplied with two towels and a washcloth, no cups, no ice bucket, no ice. I found a used plastic cup in the communal kitchen. No coffee available in the morining. "You can definitely do better"
This "hotel" is really a hostel that rents a few rooms. It is really a bare-bones operation. The room was clean, but the service was very limited. The room phone did not connect to the front desk. There is no ice machine on the premises. The water in the sink and shower tastes terrible, and when you first turn it on it comes out discolored (but later […] clears). There is no shampoo in the room and the soaps are tiny. The television is tiny by today's standards, and several of the channels had video but no audio (NBC, ESPN, others). The only Internet access is in the lobby, which has no table or desk, only sofas and coffee tables (hurt my back to use them), or in the adjacent patio which has tables but are used by the long-term residents for cooking and eating their own meals - very distracting. Some of the residents were a little scary, too, like the schizoprenic woman who kept saying the same phrase over and over: "they just left him there, naked on the sheets... they just left him there..." etc. It is a very short walk to the beach, which was nice. Still, there are many other hotels on this same street and next time I will try a different one. The price was low, but considering what they offered it was still too much. "Ein Mad-House!"
Das beste an dem Hotel ist die Art Deco-Außenfassade mit der klassischen Leuchtreklame von einst. Ideal ist auch die Lage in Miami Beach direkt an der Hauptstraße Collins Avenue. Ideal für Sightseeing. Das war aber auch das Positive. Auch wenn der Zimmerpreis im Vergleich zu den benachbarten Hotels relativ günstig ist würde ich dort nicht noch einmal […] buchen. Die Zimmer sind völlig abgewohnt, das Bad schon fast antik und bedenklich. Es riecht muffig und die Zimmer haben keinen Schallschutz bzw. Klimaanlage. Je nach Bedarf werden wohl auch Zimmer als Hostel vergeben. Parken ist nur in einer Seitenstraße im Parkhaus für nicht wenig Geld möglich. Das Personal reißt sich auch kein Bein aus. Das Hotel wirkt als ob seit Jahren nichts mehr renoviert wurde! "tolle Lage, Zimmer und Rezeption top"
