"Not Premium hotel - don't overpay"
paid premium pricing for this since it's new years week - upgraded to suite at checkin - but the room is in shambles. The tile in bathroom literally cracked under my feet today - and i weigh 165 lbs. Door jams don't fit square, picture frame over bad cracked - missing remotes. No attention to details for the cost/night 2.Maid didn't show either day […] by 4pm - is that unreasonable? We wanted to nap so no cleaning of room - just new towels. 3. I can't say the rates, but I'm sure there are other hotels in area that would offer a room at a better rate for a nicer room. 4. The only redeeming part is the guy at the front desk who wants to do right, but has little to work with. he did give us chairs and towel for beach which was nice. We got the full bed room for just one night, so room was small, because it could only fit a full bed. Everything was fine though: staff nice, bathroom clean. Only complaint is that the comforter between two sheets on the bed was icky. Since it's not inside a sheet, I could easily see yucky stains. "Good Choice for the night"
We stayed at Delores Hotel just for one evening. Everything was clean and comfortable. AC wasn't on when we walked into the room, but was very quick to cool it down. There was an ac in both rooms because there was a bedroom, bathroom and living/kitchen room. Location was great, just 2 blocks from South Beach and the downtown strip. "A nice boutique hotel that's all about location"
This is all about location, the Delores is unbeatable in this area, conveniently located steps away from all the fun in Ocean Dr, the beaches and all the shopping in Collins Ave and Lincoln Rd. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms, albeit a bit small, are well equipped, clean and comfortable. There's a much needed air conditioner […] in every room to keep it cool and dry. Not so good: sound isolation is an issue. I had two particular experiences around this. First, on my first morning, the neighboring hotel was doing some work that involved hammering right out my window at around 8am and woke me up. The Delores' staff, however, were very diligent in noting my complaint and talked to the other hotel so they pushed their work to later hours. The second issue had to do with a couple staying a few rooms down the hall. They sounded like they could not get enough of each other, plus she was really loud. I could distinctly tell 4 different times when they were being intimate because I heard the screams of her. Walls are really thin so not really soundproof. "Out stay in the broom closet"
The worst room we had EVER stayed in. The room had a twin bed. The room was so small that the tv was mounted six feet up the wall so you didn't hit your head on it. I personally don't feel that hotels dot com should keep giving them business. The comforter had about six stains on it. "Hotell Miami"
We just stayed here for 1 night, but it is realy good. It takes just a couple of minutes to go to the beach. The staff is realy nice and helpfull. The room were big and nice. "Stay if you're happy to share with a cockroach!"
This little hotel was easy to find on a very busy Collins Avenue, there are 15 minute parking bays for you to unload your car outside and parking in their sister hotel, The Eva. On entering the reception is was lovely and cool and beautifully presented but unfortunately we were met by a grumpy receptionist who wasn't really interested in us. After 20 […] minutes we eventually got our key but had to dump our bags and move our car before it got towed! The room was tiny but clean and was initially fine. However on coming back late evening I was in the cubical of a bathroom and a cockroach fell into the shower. On killing that one, there was another on the bathroom floor. Then my boyfriend said that one had just ran underneath the bed. Shocked, I called reception and asked for another room but they were fully booked as it was the 4th July weekend. But they could move us to their sister hotel where we were promised a larger room. By this time there was a lovely receptionist working so she walked us to the Eva. Again the reception was fine but on entering the room it was evident that this was the much cheaper version of the Delores. It was dirty, the sofa was ripped, the toilet continuously flushed every three minutes and the walls and ceilings were so thin that you literally heard everything that people in the other rooms were doing. So after four hours sleep we checked out unhappy and tired and will never return to either hotel. On leaving the Eva we did complain, saying that we didn't want to pay but had paid already through Hotels.com. Since returning, we have received a 40% refund which I appreciate. "Cuidado com a recepção do hotel"
Chegamos neste hotel de carro, vindos de Orlando, e na chegada vimos que o hotel não dispõe de estacionamento, devendo estacionar sempre na rua (US$1,75/hora) ou em estacionamentos privados (US$20 o pernoite/ US$2 hora). O hotel é um prédio antigo que foi revitalizado recentemente e tem dois andares, sem elevador. É muito bem localizado, no coração […] de South Beach e à cerca de 5 minutos de caminhada do Lincoln Road Mall. O problema que tivemos neste hotel ocorreu na recepção, no check in fomos colocados em um quarto que parecia um cubículo, mal cabiam as malas, e que não tinha geladeira ou cofre, sendo que o hotel anuncia que todos os quartos dispões desses serviços. Quando fui a recepção cobrar por esses itens, o recepcionista que se chamava Juan me deu duas opções, ou fazer um upgrade que me custaria mais de US$60 por dia ou então dar um "dinheirinho" para ele por fora para ele me colocar em um quarto melhor. Realmente lamentável. O hotel em si não é ruim, porém este fato que aconteceu nos incomodou e por isso não recomendamos este hotel para ninguém e de forma alguma voltaremos lá algum dia. Hotel is very well located on Collins St. close to the beach, Lincoln Mall, Ocean Drive etc., but there are a lot of hotels in the area. Staff is OK friendly when there. The “full size bed” is minimal. We had room 11, which had a window to a small alley where they had a small room with some hotel stuff, which was cooled by a noisy ventilator. We could […] also here the housekeepers talking there from early in the morning. So between the horrible and small bed, the humming refrigerator, the noisy AC, the shouting housekeepers and the paper thin walls it was impossible to get a decent night of sleep. The hotel went apparently through a renovation recently, but it did not look so in our room. Furthermore, the hotel advertises with free parking if there is place, which is not true. You have to pay 25 USD a day for a parking spot at their sister hotel. The breakfast was a juice and a muffin. Sono stata a Miami Beach la prima di Aprile 2011 con il mio fidanzato per la seconda volta. Siamo rimasti davvero molto colpiti dal Dolores hotel, prima di tutto volevo fare i complimenti a tutto la staff della reception..tutti ragazzi giovani,molto gentili e disponibili a qualsiasi tipo di richiesta (devo premettere che io in vacanza amo essere servita […] e riverita, altrimenti che vacanza e' lo ammetto sono un po' rompipalle!) sicuramente anche alcuni piccoli.comfort hanno contribuito a rendere positivo il nostro soggiorno come: La possibilita' di prepararsi il caffè in camera tramite una macchinetta che in 10minuti ti permette di bere forse la migliore miscela di caffè americano che io abbia bevuto ( Viva il caffè espresso italiano, come esci dall'Italia e' una tragedia!!) e che ti viene rifornita ogni mattina con le due Cup per bere (le Cup spessole cameriere se le dimenticavano ma bastava chiederle alla reception). Secondo gli asciugamani x la spaggia ti vengono dati puliti tutti i giorni e li riconsegni al tuo ritorno sempre ai ragazzi..a saperlo avrei risparmiato posto in valigia all'andata. Hanno un bel frigo e l'aria condizionata in tutte e due le stanze regolabile da te non centralizzata come molti altri in Miami beach e credetemi e' un bene! Un lavello con un piccolo mobile da cucina, un bel salottino televisori piccoli ma nuovi a parete, due ripostigli piccoli, la cassaforte gratuita, infine camera piccola ma davvero comoda prima di tutto per il letto alto e lenzuola sempre pulite e perfettamente piegate ogni giorno. Poi il bagno dotato di phono per capelli, quindi e' inutile portare il proprio anche perche'l'energia in America e' più bassa quindi anche comprando l'adattatore il tuo phono funzionera' come quello in camera e nn alla solita potenza. Che altro dire..ah la nostra era la camera 19ed era anche abbastanza silenziosa ho visto anche la 3 e sono tutte e due adatte ad un bel soggiorno.
