The room was clean and spacious. The staff were quite friendly and helpful. The location was fantastic, just a block from the beach and close to dining, shopping, etc. I will definitely stay here on my next visit to South Beach. We arrived early in the day long before check in but were able to store our luggage and go directly to the beach.

Overall the Delores is a good bang for your buck..located on Collins just a block off the strip!! I normally stay closer to 8th street right in the middle of the action ;however, I couldn't beat the price and the hotel staff was really good. Excellent choice. Location was fabulous! Easy access to beach, restaurants and shopping. Stayed an extra night since the service was good and everything was convienent. We will certainly stay there again since we visit south beach often.

This little two story art deco hotel is ideally located to South Beach attractions and to public transportation. The office staff, especially Katie, were always available and made my three day stay especially pleasant. The only thing that I find was lacking was a good continental breakfast; something more than muffin and juice.

The room was small but comfortable and clean. The small refrigerator was useful. There was no alarm clock in the room and the automated wake-up service did not work. Great location and attentive staff. Free muffins and o.j. were tasty. I would stay there again.

I went to Miami for the first time with 3 of my girls for a great beach vacation. We're in our 20s and we loved this hotel! Everyone who worked there was nice and friendly. They offer beach towels and chairs to take to the beach - and the beach! It was literally one street away. We just walked straight out the hotel and one street later were in paradise. […] The one thing I will say is that the area gets loud at night. so if you're a light sleeper be prepared to be woken up throughout the night because there are drunk people on the streets. But hey that's the price you pay to be so close to everything! There's food down the street, there's shopping one street the opposite way from the beach. This is all about location, the Delores is unbeatable in this area, conveniently located steps away from all the fun in Ocean Dr, the beaches and all the shopping in Collins Ave and Lincoln Rd. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms, albeit a bit small, are well equipped, clean and comfortable. There's a much needed air conditioner […] in every room to keep it cool and dry. Not so good: sound isolation is an issue. I had two particular experiences around this. First, on my first morning, the neighboring hotel was doing some work that involved hammering right out my window at around 8am and woke me up. The Delores' staff, however, were very diligent in noting my complaint and talked to the other hotel so they pushed their work to later hours. The second issue had to do with a couple staying a few rooms down the hall. They sounded like they could not get enough of each other, plus she was really loud. I could distinctly tell 4 different times when they were being intimate because I heard the screams of her. Walls are really thin so not really soundproof. Very friendly staff allowed us to check in early and arranged for our car to be parked in their sister hotel underground parking for $20 which kept the car safe & cool. Small but clean rooms and very convenient to the buzz of South Beach.

My friend & I needed a place to stay in Miami for the night before our cruise. The room was nice, the hotel was small and quiet, but in the perfect location. Walking distance to Washington Ave, Ocean Dr, and the beach, plenty to eat nearby, lots of bars, and a Walgreens. The hotel staff was nice. The next morning we wanted to go to the beach before we left to the port - they were able to hold our bags, check us out, and call us a cab! Wonderful customer service. The cab ride to Port of Miami was $25 and took maybe 30 minutes, if that. The only issues I had were - the neighborhood near the bars is kinda sketchy at 3 am [but what place isn't?] and the cab service the receptionist called for us didn't show up so I had to hail us a cab [which is much quicker, took all of 2 minutes]. We just stayed here for 1 night, but it is realy good. It takes just a couple of minutes to go to the beach. The staff is realy nice and helpfull. The room were big and nice. We did not hear any noise from the street. No breakfast No Parking, but there are a place to park your car realy close. We could live here again

Returned yesterday from 12 day stay at hotel. Friendly staff even used the hotel to book our trip to Keys as they gave us best price. Asked about hiring car and staff recommended company much cheaper than anyone else the hotel phoned up company who collected us. We parked overnight in sister hotel again all arraged by staff. The staff couldnt do enough […] to help if there was a problem. Every morning there was cartons of orange juice and muffins and in the afternoon there was cookies and fruit in the reception area. Room was brilliant even had fridge in it which was very usefull also had a hair dryer and iron and ironing board, room cleaned every day and sheets chaged every 2 days. We really enjoyed our stay May 12th and 13th 2011 at the Delores Hotel. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. We had lots of space, 2 rooms and 2 TV's. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch watching all the interesting sights. We were within walking distance to everything.
