Dream South Beach

A super-sceney hotel with a heart. The room overly styled, the walls were paper thin, and the sickly sweet fragrance in the room was oppressive. We actually had a room with windows but it still didn't help a ton with the dimness of room. This is obviously a hotel for the party-crowd that plans on sleeping all day (who cares about sunlight in the room […] when you're passed out) and dancing all night. Though I don't know how, prepping for a night out, the ladies would ever be able to do their makeup well in the room. The bathroom lighting is terrible too. Don't get me started on the light switches; they are maddening. But the service was out of this world! Every staff member was super sweet and helpful. The room was always well cleaned. Even the waiters in the hotel's excellent restaurant (Tudor House) were friendly and patient. If you're in south beach for the bulky-orange-people club scene, stay here - this place is perfect. If you're not, you'll be irritated by the room but you won't leave mad or feel ripped off. Read more

Hotel is pretty. room is cozy, a little small but nice and cozy. Very romantic but i think area with toilet should be covered or enclosed so that you are not viewed. Staff is friendly. Service is great really.

I stayed in Dream for two nights. the room is very small but very functional. the service is great. the only thing i complain is i stayed on second floor, they play music downstairs so loud in the morning so could not sleep in. other than that, it is good.

Overall great hotel...it has what you need...location, price (relevant), cleanliness and assistance. The only issues I had with this hotel are minor...it can be loud...the doors slam shut so forget about the afternoon nap as you hear maids yelling "mini bar" and opening and closing doors all day. The Dream Hotel is by far one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at on South Beach. Dream is a very pretty hotel. Our room was beautiful. The hotel is a modern, classy and beautiful. Our room was clean and so pretty. All the staff was friendly and extremely helpful. The hotel is absolutely stunning. Das Hotel war sehr speziell designed und sehr sauber. Die Zimmer sind nicht allzugross (25m2 mit Kingsize-Bett) aber mit der speziellen Beleuchtung konnten sie das wieder Wett machen. Unser Zimmer lag zum Innenhof und die Fenster konnten nur einen Spalt geöffnet werden und das nur sehr mühsam. Dennoch würde ich dieses Hotel ohne Weiteres jederzeit weiterempfehlen. […] Ich bin der Meinung, dass es eines der besseren Hotels ist und das an bester Lage. Auf dem Hoteldach hatte es einen Swimmingpool und Liegen. Dort war es sehr gemütlich, obwohl die dortigen Liegeplätze doch mal schnell vergeben waren. Am Meer stand jedem Hotelgast eine Liege und ein Badetuch zu für einen Tagespreis von ca. 9 USD (bezahlt man sowieso, ob genutzt oder nicht). Für die Sonnenschirme mussten zusätzlich USD 15.- pro Tag bezahlt werden. Überrascht waren wir auch von der Handhabung, dass in jedem Restaurant (gilt nicht nur für das Dream South Beach-Restaurant) schon mal grundsätzlich ca. 18% Trinkgeld aufgerechnet wurde. Les chambres sont sombres (fenêtres condamnées et opacifiées) et étrangement éclairées... Il faut juste s'y habituer. L'emplacement est idéal pour découvrir South Beach et la terrasse est magnifique et fort agréable.

Hotel Neuf, superbe déco très moderne inspiration orientale, propre, piscine étroite mais suffisante vu le peu d'habitants dans l'hôtel, superbe vue sur le toit, la mer, les palmiers, belle déco à la piscine, grands matelas pour s'allonger et prendre un bain de soleil, j'ai vraiment adoré l'ambiance intimiste et le calme de l'hôtel, la situation est […] parfaite, à 2 pas de la mer, du centre, des boutiques, bus etc.... Seul bémol : la chambre standard est un peu petite pour ranger ses affaires, on est vraiment à l'étroit, la lumière bleue c'est bien joli mais on voit rien même en allumant la plus puissante des lumières... Bémol n°2 : le bar de la piscine mais ça c'est plus la même politique dans tous les bars de la ville, demander SANS GLACON sinon vous aurez un verre a demi rempli. Read more

Während unseres USA-Aufenthaltes haben wir sechs Nächte im Dream verbracht. Das Zimmer an sich ist, wie man bereits auf den Bildern erkennen kann, sehr ausgefallen und stylisch. Leider ist es aber auch total unpraktisch - es gibt z.B. nur EINEN Haken für Handtücher und man hat auch sonst wenig Platz für Koffer. Außerdem sollte man das Hotel nur wählen, […] wenn man sich sehr gut kennt, da sich WC und Dusche mehr oder weniger direkt im Raum, nur getrennt durch Glasschiebetüren befinden.. Die Lage dagegen ist unschlagbar - das Hotel befindet sich in der Parallelstraße zum Ocean Drive. Damit liegt es zwar mitten am Strand aber nicht direkt im Trubel - man kann dem Ganzen also etwas aus dem Weg gehen, wenn einem das Ballermann/Ibiza-Treiben zu viel wird. Zum Strand sowie zum Ocean Drive sind es circa 3-5 Min. Fußweg. Der Strand ist super, etwas windig aber typisch amerikanisch mit Lifeguards usw. Allerdings ist auch zu beachten, dass der Pool über eine eigene Bar verfügt, die frei zugänglich ist und es dort des öfteren ziemlich rund geht (max. bis 3 Uhr nachts an Halloween) - Eckzimmer sind sehr zu empfehlen bzgl. Platz! Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt allerdings überhaupt nicht.. Zum Thema WiFi ist zu sagen, dass man auf gar keinen Fall das Room-Wifi für 9,95 $ buchen sollte, da es überall in Hotel-Lobby und Orange room neben dem Restaurant (manchmal auch im Zimmer ;) ) kostenlos verfügbar ist. Wer das American Breakfast nicht mehr sehen kann, der kann sich etwas gutes tun, indem er den Smoothies Shop in der Washington Ave/Str. aufsucht --> super!! Außerdem zu empfehlen ist das MYC (My Yoghurt Cafe) im Espanola Way - man kann dort sein eigenes Joghurt-Eis zusammenstellen! Nicht billig aber lecker! Was das Dinner angeht, kann ich definitiv das Cafe Milano, das Primetime und UNBEDINGT das Clevelander (wenn man hübsche Mädels und leckere Burger mag) ;) Ich hoffe die Tips waren hilfreich! Мы провели 11 дней в июле 2011 г. в этом отеле и даже не хотелось уезжать. Все было на высшем уровне! Местоположение отличное, 3 минуты до пляжа и 5 мин. до баров, ресторанов,клубов (но при этом в отеле было тихо). Персонал был доброжелательный и красивый (все в белых одеждах), сложилось впечатление, что персонала было больше, чем отдыхающих. Очень […] красивый дизайн . В отеле всегда было чисто и свежо.
