We haven't been told that there are daily leisure surcharges 2 days total $57 while we checked out. At the first when we check in, they said we get beach tower and 2 beach umbrellas and internet are all included. "Pay a little more and stay up around Lincoln Road"
First room was so loud from other guests, building door banging all night, smoking area 3 feet outside our bedroom glass door and staff banging around at 6AM. We moved to a quieter room for the second night, it was much better but changing rooms was a hassle and the second had a view of the AC units. Hotel and pools need some TLC. Expedia says there […] is valet and self parking available, only valet parking contracted out to another company is available. We ended up self parking on a lot, not related to the hotel for $25 / day. Witnessed multiple complaints from guests that they had been waiting 30 plus minutes and the valet service had not brought the car. Hotel says the cars are parked 'a ways away'. One group was going on a fishing trip, had to take a taxi because the car didn't arrive in time, said they gave 45 minutes notice. "Would never go back"
They should be ashamed of themselves to let such an adorable hotel go to the dumps. The carpet was so disgusting and stinky, I would ever walk barefoot. Just dirty. The mattress on the pull out couch was unsanitary. The food was horrible. Descent bathrooms but too dark.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Perfect location but not kept up very well"
The location was wonderful, right on the beautiful Miami Beach! A short walk to the Art Deco Area. "BUT" the building itself has a lot to be desired. What a shame that the hotel is not kept up better!!! I bet it was "the" place to be many years ago. The front desk service was ok, but not particularily friendly. As we made our way to our room, the hall […] way carpet was really stained and made us feel like we were heading into a dirty room. As we approached the elevator, we noticed that too was dirty, the elevator reminded me of a freight elevator, not one you would find in a hotel. My husband looked at me and said "what kind of place did you get"? We made it to our room, again, walking through more, very stained carpet noticing a mattress up against a wall and room service plates in the hallway. The service area door was continually open and dirty in there also. Once in our room, we were surprise, fresh paint and very clean! Althought the bed was not very comfortable, the room was nice. Our view/balcony however was out to a tar roof and with significant paint peeling! Unfortunately, this all left us with a feeling of not being in a clean environment.
