"ART DECO- OLD South Beach"
Pictures on web had better lighting then the real thing. Rooms were clean but definitely older. Jacuzzi looked more like a bath tub- very small. Free computer internet in the lobby was helpful but would have preferred wifi in room. Good restaurant suggestions at desk. Soap in the bathroom would have been nice. "Good value, but remeber your in South Beach !"
I was a little afraid when I read the reviews before the trip. The "good": Clean , fairly modern. Liked the fact that the room had a tile floor ( granite or marble ?), rather than carpet. The solarium on the second floor ( with jacuzzi tub) was a plus. I did not hear ( or see) the night club reported in previous reviews (out of business?). Fairly closed […] to the beach and restaurants. The "Bad": $27/per night for valet parking, but the desk clerk did point us to the public parking garage around the corner for $20/night. The neighorhood is noisy ( but that's South Beach baby !) Would not recommend this location for a family. "Close to everywhere"

"Great location! So-so amenities."
My girlfriend and I got a great deal, basically taking the cheapest hotel we could find in South Beach during Spring Break. The location was perfect - just two blocks from the beach and an easy stroll to all the nightspots. This hotel is a bit old and worn. Our AC unit was loud and seemed to lack coolant, but the room was comfortable if we ran it during […] the day and turned it off at night. The hot tube is a nice touch, but the water was always lukewarm. Our room was not cleaned one day so I had to get fresh towels myself. That said, we got what we paid for and were mostly satisfied. The rooms were generally clean, we had no bed bug problem and didn't read of any online, and the kitchenette saved us so much money by allowing us to eat breakfast and lunch in the room. Das Hotel selber ist ok und zweckmäßig eingerichtet. WiFi verdient nicht den namen WhatsApp und Skype könnte man fast nicht gebrauchen. Der Eingang ist an der Pennsylvania Avenue, die meisten Bilder im Internet zeigen den alten Eingang von der Washington Avenue welcher jetzt ein Nacht Club ist. Daneben ist ein Piercing Laden somit hat man keine Ruhe […] bis um 2-3. Warnung mit keine Ruhe meine ich EXTREM laute Musik UND Lüftung vom Club welche man im ganzen Hotel hört egal in welchem Zimmer. Wir waren da am Dienstag und Mittwoch, möchte nicht wissen wie es am Freitag oder Samstag ist. Positiv : Sauber, Zweckmäßigkeit, Gute Lage, freundliche Leute. Negativ: EXTREM Laut, kleine Zimmer, Fenster Scheiben teilweise Kaput, Valuet Parking 27 $ pro Tag, Am Abend Laute Musik bis 3 , am Tag ab 6 Zulieferung der Hotels... für eine oder zwei Nächte OK, länger auf kein Fall. Fint hotel med en god beliggenhed i Art Deco området tæt ved strand, shopping og bustransport. Hotellet var lidt slidt, men blev gjort fint rent hver dag. Läget var jätte bra, så med tanke på priset hade inga förväntningar. Första anblicken av rummet kalt och trist men man vande sig. Schyst med tv med 80 kanaler, dock är alla kanaler likadana.
