Quaint, simple accommodations at a reasonable rate. Great location: easy to find, easy to park, and close to symphony center, beach, shopping, and restaurants. .Free wi-fi available, though the speed, at times, was almost too slow to use, which could be a plus, if like me, you are trying to discourage a workaholic spouse from working on vacation.

Hotel was fine, room was clean, bathroom small, front desk person was nice. It was a rainy day so we didn't get to use the pool. Big downside, no parking, there is a lot across the street it costs $30/day... Miami prices! For the money, the room was a good value.

My husband and I booked this hotel after seeing a good price for South Beach and convenient location. After reading some of the reviews we were a little hesitant but decided to try it anyways. There isn't parking onsite but across the street is a pay to park lot that charges $40 for a 24 hour period until 12 the next day and if you want to stay longer, you can pay $20 extra. Good experince and is a great location, very close to the ocean (5 min walk), right next to lincoln road mall and a 10 min walk to ocean drive. Room was tidy, but very small bathroom with no fan, but otherwise a good place to stay and not very spendy.

The most important thing about Crest Hotel is that it is clean. It had the smallest bathroom and the very smallest shower I have ever seen--I barely fit, and I am not a large person, and forget about shelves or racks in the shower. The water in the sink came out very close to the back of the basin, so it was a little hard to use. I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. Over-night parking was pricey ($30). Front desk staff was very helpful (I believe his name was Rodrigo). He kept me abreast of a package I was expecting and had it waiting for me when I checked into the hotel. He also upgraded me to a king suite which was very nice. Pool was refreshing.

THe hotel is smaller and a little off the beaten track, however it is close to everything, 2 blocks from the beach, and 3 blocks from the Lincoln street mall. Nice economical hotel, and a good value.

Set a block away from the hustle and bustle of Ocen drive which is a plus. Great rooms, close to beach and a block away from the Ritz and Lowes. Nice little pool to relax at if you feel the need for some quiet time. Great stay! Booking it in 2013 for next years Wine and Food Fest!

This hotel is great if you want to be close to the beach without spending your whole vacation budget on a hotel. It's a 2-block walk to the beach, where you can rent beach chairs and umbrellas from any of the fancy hotels. Also a 2-block walk to Lincoln Ave, which is full of restaurants, bars, and shops. We enjoyed our 6 day stay at the Crest Hotel. The room has everything you'll need for a week at the beach; AC, two double beds, clean sheets, a flat screen TV and a shower/bath. After reading reviews for this hotel, there were no surprises. The rooms, as pictured, are definitely small, but have a tasteful spare, clean decor. The employees we encountered were all polite and helpful. The hotel is very conveniently located - close to the convention center, the beach, and Lincoln Road shops and dining.

Crest Hotel is in a prime location to local shops and food venues. A 10 minute walk to Lummus Park, a 5 minute walk to a host of great entertainment venues, and an 8 minute walk to local (and safe) parking garage. Beach was a couple blocks away. I recommend this for its convenient location and fair price.

We had a corner room on the third floor. We preferred to open the windows sometimes instead of using AC, which was not a problem. The location was superb, two blocks from the beach and two blocks from Lincoln Road. We uses rental bicycles the whole time which were less than a block away. It was a short walk to the beach, right on the Lincoln Rd. shopping area, about a half mile to most of the restaurants along South Beach, and 1/3 mile from the convention center. The hotel was near the end of the Art Deco area and was off of Lincoln Road where lots of shops and eatery are. Its about 2 blocks from the beach. There are a few clubs near by but a lot of them are closer to 10th and 12th street. Cabs and buses are available and were reasonably priced so it wasn't completely inconvenient.
