Perfect location. Trendy. Get what u pay for, low cost = small room, no amenities, strict check in @ 3:00 but good deal. 2 blocks from beach & tons of restaurants, shops, clubs... Loud bar in front cool but ask for a 2nd or 3rd floor back room.

We found the location to be very good. Staff was very friendly and courteous. Did not get to enjoy daily happy hour due to schedule but it was an added benefit. Whitelaw was one of the least expensive hotels I found on South Beach, and I was immediately drawn to the pretty decor. It looked just like the hotel website's photos, except the walls in my room were white, not pink. The room wasn't huge, but big enough. Big, soft bed. Clean. It was a little loud when people walked in the hallway--The walls aren't very sound-absorbing. But it wasn't bad. I was there Thanksgiving week, so there were no Spring Break partiers yelling in the hallway. One thing that DID bother me is that Whitelaw doesn't have blackout curtains. So the room gets super-bright at 7:30am, waking me up before I'm ready for it. Also, the shower doesn't have a door, which was a little weird. Good hotel, the location is good and easily assessible to shops, restaurants and all the fun stops and also the beach. Had a real good time there and will stay there again when i visit Miami next time. The hotel is clean and other services are good. The bathroom is small but ok.

Great party hotel. If you are looking for a family oriented hotel this is not it. Staff was great and helpful. Rooms were cleaned daily. Fresh towels.. Only complaint.. i wish there was wifi in the rooms other than that it was an overall great experience.

Everyone was awesome at the hotel specially RAVID!!!! all the best for him, just one thing at the check in time they ask you for $100 us dollars credit for incidents, that we did not know about it. it is not in any hotel information, policies or rules. we called twice before the trip and nobody let us know about it, and Andrew at the front desk , he […] was not polite at all an he do not consider more options from us that we do not want to hold the credit card for a bank ( when international bank process are totally differents than americans ) credit cards takes for ever to return back the money, so he was really rude an as a first impression of the hotel, later they let us with a deposit in cash for $200 us dollars and he took all the mini fridge service, he actually treated us as sprig breakers and they need to notice the kind of guest are in front, he need to remember that he is providing a service, and also need manners!! Very nice hotel, nice room and lobby. The bar in the lobby is really busy in the evening. The bar ads automatically the gratuity on the bill. No complimentary parking onsite, like most of the Miami beach. You can chose from a parking building 2 blocks away, 15 dollars overnight. Or the hotel valet parking 30+ something.

I had a blast I enjoyed being right on the strip in the heart I everything. The hotel provided transportation to and from the airport. They had happy hour from 7-8 every night and the music they played was real good and I especially enjoyed karaoke night which was on Saturday.

Hotel was close to everything, it was an excellent location. This is a great hotel if you are seeking the nightlife and don't mind walking a block. Great beach access too. The decor was cute!! The room size was not very big but we were comfortable. Price corresponds well to boutique hotel.

We have stayed at the Whitelaw on numerous occasions when visiting Miami Beach.The rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff is extremely helpful. The only problem with the hotel at all is that you hear people in the halls late at night. If they could soundproof the doors it would be fantastic. I have stayed before, I love the decor in the lobby and the decor in the rooms. The location is amazing, you don't need to rent a car because the beach, food, and shopping are steps away. The only downside was the noise in the hallway from other guests who decided to yell and talk loudly all hours. When we called to complain, they did send someone up […] to check. I think the cleaning people need to stop talking loud at 7 am as well, yelling and slamming doors very early. The staff is so friendly and nice (well the night-time staff) and they made our stay very enjoyable. The happy hour is one of the best ways to loosen up and meet some fellow hotel guests before getting ready for a night out on the town. Its in the center of where you want to be with close access to the beach, nightclubs, and awesome restaurants!

I stayed there for Spring Break. The Hotel is one block away from the beach and one block away from a club and shopping area. There is a restaurant in the front, a bar with free drinks during happy hour and a DJ that plays music all day. So its great for spring break but not for families.

The hotel was very clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. The location is a huge plus at a reasonable price. This is not a hotel if you want peace and quite, but then you probably shouldn't be staying on South Beach if that is what you want. The only complaint was a very noisy air conditioner unit. I would definitely stay there again.

I stayed at the Whitelaw with my boyfriend for his 25th birthday. The hotel is a cute small hotel and is perfect if you want to pregame and party. This is NOT a vacation hotel.. i wouldn't recommend it to people looking for a quiet room. The room was small and kind of cramped fir 4 adults, and it was majorly hot. The service from the staff was great […] especially ANDREW! If you are parking a vehicle i dont recommend to use their valet, it takes too long to get the car and its expensive. I recommend parking on 7th and Washington. There was a sun desk on the top floor and it was a perfect place to relax in the middle of the night and enjoy the real MIAMI NIGHTLIFE. the beach is only a 5 minute walk away and there is a great pizzeria called GINO'S that is a must have after leaving the club. Last time I've stayed at the Whitelaw it was AMAZING so naturally I came back. However, this time my experience wasn't as excellent. This time the service was slow, had to call the front desk several time before they came with extra towels, toilet paper etc. The worst part was that there was mosquitoes in the room and a small lizard (which housekeeping […] was told to capture but they clearly didn't). Besides living with a reptile and less than subpar service my stay was excellent. Some of the staff (John and Jonathan) was excellent and truly made up for the others.
