Beautiful hotel with friendly staff, but no in-room wifi, no beach chair service? The Royal Palace next door provides both and has a friendlier staff.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Lovely, but watch your stuff."
The hotel is lovely and our stay was fine. However, what happened afterward ruined the whole experience. I accidentally left a book and a few other things in my nightstand. I phoned the hotel immediately upon returning home and was told they would look for it. The next day when someone finally looked into it, my items were not recovered. I'm pretty […] upset that a hotel would just throw my things out. It wouldn't have been a huge deal but a photo was in the book and it's one I can't replace. Really disappointed in myself for leaving it behind but more so in a nice hotel that just discards personal items. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Re-think management in this hotel, they aren't pro"
I stayed in that hotel back in January 2012, then it was wonderful, very good, impeccable. This time in August, i had to go down for business. I choose to return to this hotel. But unfortunately, it was not the same service. The room, wasn't clean, engineering had to come to the room, to fix the toilets that leaked all night long. Despite my requests […] over the phone to ask someone to come to fix them. I eventually turned off the faucet under the restrooms. Then in the cupboard where the coffee machine is, the switch was was broken and the lights stayed on constantly. I had to cover it with the wine bucket. Then, the phone turn on speaker at 5.30am, apparently a technical problem. They came the next day to fix everything. But the light was still constantly on in the cupboard. The next night, in the next rooms people were having a party around 1am. When i called security it took them more than half an hour to come, then they stayed until 2am in my room to hear the noise. They apparently went to let the guests to stop partying. But despite that, the guests continued partying, until i had to call again and had them going once more, then after, no more noise. In total, between the leak of the toilets and the guest partying, and more important slapping doors, because all guest slapped their doors like crazy all day/night long! A total of 9 hours sleeping divided in two nights. Not acceptable and not refundable unfortunately, you have to discuss like crazy to speak to a manager! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Never again!"
The Loews Miami Beach is one on the best hotels in South Beach for families. While it offers everything you need..... it is extremely overpriced and way too crowded. It starts with the $25 valet fee. Drinks and food at the pool have a 16% built in gratuity. The pool deck is ridiculous! Chairs on lined up..no space at all. If you get there later in the […] morning there are no chairs open. I asked the pool concierge how do you know if a chair is available. he replied "if there is no towel on the chair it is free" After walking around for a few minutes we realized all the chairs had towels. I returned to him and asked for assistance. He walked 20 feet and took four towels off 4 consecutive chairs and said "these are free" Then he waited for a tip! We had a "ocean view room" It was small with a desk squeezed in the corner and a slight view of the water if you pressed you face to the window. Don't get wrong the hotel offers alot but is living on hype. It isn't as good as it's reputation. The beach access is excellent. There are better hotels for the money. "Too big"
When I arrived the lobby was full of talking people so loud that I could hardly hear the desk clerk...when I tried to order some drinks to cool off it took over 15 minutes to get thru to room service...next day I placed an order for breakfast at 8:10 and was told my breakfast would be up by 9:00...at 9:15 I called and it took another 5 minutes to get […] thru and was told my order was the third one in line and my roomate had to leave because he had a meeting to get to so I told them to take my roomates breakfast off the bill as he had to leave ...the breakfast arrive at 9:35 and of course the order was all of it which was charged the full amount..called back and was told would not be charged but the bill I was signing had the full amount....so disgusted I went out at 10:30 put the housekeeping light on for the room and to my dismay when I returned at 3:30 the room had not been touched although when I left a cleaning cart was right next to my room...so my experience was terrible and I travel alot...so I will not be staying here ever again.. "Buyer beware!!!"
This hotel is def. not a 4 star. It is more like a 3 star hotel. While the lobby is attractive, the rooms are tiny!! We were just a family of three and it felt just too crowded. The bathrooms have no shelving for towels- these were piled up on the toilet tank, they also have no locks on the bathroom doors. The one full length mirror in the room was […] completely blocked behind the bed. We asked to be moved to a different room, the manager was completely unaccommodating, telling us there were no other rooms available. And this was for a 6 day stay!! The management is not willing to make their guests more comfortable in any way. Beware of x-tra charges to basic room charge. Parking- $39 a night. To sit on over-crowded beach -$10 per ch.and $15 per umbr. +20% gratuity & tx.For a family of three this set us back an additional $60 a day. Gym $10 a day. X-tra charge for internet. The mediocre food at the beach/pool was beyond over-priced. Ceviche was literally 3 tbl. of fish- $16+tax+20% gratuity. The ceviche had to be sent back as it was inedible. To sit closer to the ocean be prepared to be on the beach by 8am to stand in line to rent your chairs. The pool is an even worse scenario- extremely over-crowded with not enough lounge chairs for guests-this is not relaxing! We always stay at 4-5 star hotels when we travel- I would not return to this hotel as there are so many better options, ie; the Fountainbleu, The Eden Rock, Park Central and The Delano on south Beach, etc. etc. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Not worth the premium you'll need to pay."
Made a quick getaway with the family (wife, 3 and 5 year-old). Was okay paying a premium to get a premium experience. But the hotel was just on par with other hotels that I've previously stayed at in South Beach. Hotel room was fine, service was friendly enough, and the pool was large relative to other nearby hotel pools (although it doesn't feel heated […] even though everyone says it is). The kids club was uninspiring. We didn't enroll our kids, but we did partake in some of their games poolside. They were all lame - no excitement, no interaction with the kids. It was like you can check-off that they did something each hour. There were no smiles. All in all, don't think this hotel was worth the premium. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Would NOT Recommend this Hotel"
This reason i gave this hotel a very poor rating is because of one major thing. The hotel room doors slam and make a lot of noise when they close. Now you would think this isn't a big deal but if you are not getting up at the same time as everyone else it doesn't matter if people around you head out 5AM then you are waking up a 5AM. The noise is so […] load that you can hear it very very well. I asked the management about it and they said that every room is like that. WHY DON"T THEY FIX IT???? Lots of other places to stay for the money they are charging. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not that great!"
Upon checking in, the front desk staff did not notify me of the construction noise i would be hearing Friday/Saturday morning beginning at 8a.m. My room was directly located above the construction site. I was offered a free meal, but i had to insist i could not tolerate the noise and demanded another suite, which was finally given to me. It took three […] hours to relocate to my new room. The rooms were not very clean, found other individuals hair on bed sheets, garbage wasn't removed from my suite. Overall i would not recommend this hotel as they claim to be a four star hotel. The already smallish pool area was reduced by construction over the Xmas holiday. Not smart and very inconvenient for guests. Staff was not helpful in resolving or offering to provide an equitable solution.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Showestalls are poorly done"
When taking showers, water goes out of stall on the floor. Call front desk to fix it but no one bothered. Call concierage few times and they put you on hold and when you go in the lobby, you find them not busy at all. Very disappointed with the service. Location is good, rooms are good size and welcome services are good.

A piscina é pequena e desorganizada.
