Hotel Wifi was slow in our room (3rd floor of 4) but a lot better in the lobby. The room was very fresh with light colors and clean look. The AC was definitely needed given the weather and was good. Restroom/shower clean and fresh, with plenty of mirrors. Big plus for the small walk-in closet! Only negative was the breakfast, very basic (cereal, toast […] with cream cheese or jam, orange juice and coffee/tea) - in the sense that if it would have been more of a buffée I would have given an overall 4.5 grading! "Location Rocks."
Every time I go to So Be I stay at the Greenview. It's a little worn around the edges if you know what I mean, but the location makes it worth it. It's less than 2 blocks from the start of Lincoln Rd, with fantastic shopping and food and most of all--people watching! When I was just at the Greenview, there were a couple tiny black ants (not the kind […] that bite) in the bathroom and the AC kept freezing up after running constantly for 24 hours, but if I shut it off for an hour and turned it back on it was fine. The decor is fresh and stylish and you feel like you're really on vacation and not at a generic chain hotel. Personally I use a hotel for sleeping and showering and that's what this place is fantastic for. The only thing that has changed that bummed me out since the last time I was there is the public parking lot that used to be across the street was taken out by the city, so now parking is by valet at the hotel for $20 a day. That was a shock to me because the old public lot was $5 a day. But honestly the $20 a day is comparable to what all the other lots charge around the hotel, even the remaining city lot. A bit of a slow check-in but a great inexpensive, no-frills hotel! Fantastic location, just a block from the Filmore Theater and Lincoln Road. Clean Rooms, continental breakfast and a parking garage nearby. I'll certainly stay there again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Green View in Miami"
We visited this hotel on our stay to Miami for Memorial Day weekend. The staff was ok, they were not very friendly. They did not want to provide us with more bathing towels and the advertisement about breakfast is false. The rooms are very small, but in a great location. We complained several times about the noise of the other applicants that stayed […] on top of us. The front desk clerk charged my credit card an extra 50.00 in case the room was in bad condition when we left. We left the hotel in the same condition it was in when we checked in and my money has yet to be put back in my account. When I reserved the room, they told me that check out time would be 11am, but we got a call at 10:00 rushing us to check out, and if we did not we would be charged an extra 50.00!! I hope that the owner is reading this review because this is horrible and bad customer service. The price was expensive and after I researched there were better rooms for better prices. El Hotel en General es bastante aceptable, ubicacion excelente, limpieza aceptable, buenos servicios basicos y muy cerca tienes paradas de transporte publico, resturantes y tiendas de conveniencia. Mi unica observacion es que el mantenimiento de las instalaciones no es el mejor, en nuestra habitacion el aire acondicionado hacia mucho ruido y el extractor […] de aires del servicio no funcionaba, por lo demas, excelente. Fiquei no Greenview em maio de 2011. O hotel é antigo, como a maioria em South Beach. Mas foi reformado por dentro e os quartos, além de confortáveis, tem aparência nova e limpa. O hotel fica perto de tudo, quase na esquina da Lincoln Road e a 2 quadras da praia. Não possui estacionamento próprio, mas oferece um serviço de valet que pega e entrega […] o carro na porta do hotel. Este serviço é pago, mas acho difícil você conseguir algo parecido em South Beach. Todo o staff do hotel é atencioso. O café da manhã é simples, nada demais, não vá esperando um café continental. Tem torradas, cereal, café, leite e pouco mais.
