Conditions were very poor. It needs a lot of work. Room was clean but in very poor condition - holds in carpet, missing knobs from furniture, TV was old and small, closed captioning would not work even though it had the option, missing chain for security lock, bed wobbly, mattress so so, pillows out! Bathroom was clean but in very poor condition - no […] stopper in the sink so was very conscious making sure I didn't drop something in the sink, bathtub has slipped plate so about 1/5 hole so anybody taking shower probably added water damage to the inside wall, lots of cracks in the enclosure. I was alone so was very nervous because of lack of security. I am hearing impaired so I can't hear a thing when I take my hearing aids off at night. Security means a lot to me. My room was at the end of the hall on the first floor which was actually up about 10 stairs and right next to the room was a security door was the propped open with a towel the second day and all night apparently that I propped a folding chair (which fortunately was in the closet in the room) under the door knob the second night. I would have change hotels but unfortunately I got non-refundable reservations which I will never do again! Even though the beach was across the street (about a minute walk to the water) and very beautiful, location was NOT good for a lone woman. I just did not feel safe in the area at night. I would not recommend this area for lone women. Read more

This was the most horrible experience ever! The hotel was very dirty, people outside the hotel bumming cigarettes and money. No working elevator, or ice machine. The air conditioner in our room didn't work. Tries to use the phone to call to the front door and that didn't even work. Do not stay here under no circumstances.

Stay was OK. Front desk wanted more money ($5.00( for safe in the room. I thought that should have been included in the price I paid for the room. Next time I think I will plan better and pay a little more and get a better hote.

I read a lot of reviews that were really bad. But te truth is the hotel is a historic building from 1940's, so the building itself needs some repairs, but customer services was excelent, the room was cleaned daily, the toilet was brand new, the room had enough space for my wife, my 2 kids and me and the continental breakfast was the same as the one […] offered in every other hotel. When we arrived on Monday night the front desk attendant was not organized and very slow. The lobby smelled ok but going up the stairs into the body of the hotel is where is went down hill immediately. There was an awful mildewy sour order throughout the corridors. Taking our shoes off in our room was the most disgusting experience my feet have had […] in my lifetime. The carpet is sticky and greasy feeling, I hated getting out of bed to touch it and so did my children. Night one, we had only one small hand towel in our room for 3 people. Called down, said they'd send some right up & no one showed. Was too tired to pursue it. Later that evening while watching tv with only his pillow touching the headboard the headboard fell off the wall. Day two, the maintenance man did come to put the headboard back on the wall mount (held on by cardboard & nails only). After the cleaning lady came through we still had no towels and no new trash bags in our emptied trash cans. The headboard fell of the wall again and again my son was not touching it when it happened the maintenance man came to put the headboard back up and it fell off immediately (he was still in the room). He left to get some tools then proceeded to ask ME to help him fix the bed. This is not what I paid for! Worst Hotel experience ever! Never again! Read more

Splendid pictures on the net but nothing to do with the reality ! The Hotel needs a good renovation, lift out of service, sand on the floor and poor breakfast, not even a cup of tea ! To start the hotel had 1 elevator that was out of service. We had to carry our luggage up to the third floor. Hotel rug was so dirty it look black. The bathroom was moldy the mattress were very!! old. I never take the reviews too seriously because I feel that people may see things differently. However this was bad.

Well, the good thing is that the beach is nearby. It's far from alot of places to visit. You only have nearby bars, discos, and hotels. I didn't mind because I have my own car and was able to visit my family in the south west area.

Yes this hotel is close to the beach. That is the only thing it has going for it. The room was dirty. The sheets and blankets were stained. The walls were stained with dirt. The carpets were dirty. While the hotel is situated conveniently right on the beach, the house itself was in no good shape. The elevator did not work and we had to carry our heavy luggage into 3rd floor. The room was shabby, and the bathroom was apparently not cleaned, because there was really a lot of dirt on the floor. On the upside, the breakfast was good and plenty, it […] would have been nice to sit inside and not out on the hot porch (especially since the trash cans were emptied at exactly our breakfast time and it smelled not pretty). The hotel is what you expect for the price. While I'm was pleasantly surprised to not find bugs in the room, it was odd to have a bottle opener mounted to the wall next to the bed. The bathroom was old and the linen had a cigarette burn hole in it but if you're looking for cheap and no bugs, it's fine for 1 night.

Das Hotel war eine zumutung. Wir haben 5 mal das Zimmer gewechselt, weil die Zimmer heruntergekommen und richtig Dreckig waren. Wir wollten dort erst garnicht schlafen, aber leider konnten wir niemand von Reiseveranstalter erreichen, und mußten dort schlafen.
