Service sucked, the hotel that is displayed in the pictures is not the hotel that actually exists. The only good thing about this hotel is the beach. Besides that it is absolutely worthless and should be demolished.

I felt like I got a heck of a deal from this reservation!! This Howard Johnson was a really nice one, with great amenities. You could tell it was rebuilt from an old apartment building... Strange rooms and walls are definitely very "hear through".... But overall, a nice place to stay for short visit considering the price we paid for.

They have ONLY internet (n Lobby! Don't think that in your room will have wifi or something like this. the Breakfast is expensive and EVERY little thing that you gonna do you will PAY for. like fitness room, spa, CHAIR on the beach, etc.

I recently stayed at the Howard Johnson Plaza Dezerland Beach and Spa. The hotel itself was a great disappointment. My room was a walk into 1960...nothing has been updated or enhanced. Hotellet var helt ok, veldig enkelt innredet. Noe slitt. En busstur eller taxitur unna restaurantene og utelivet i Southbeach, men hotellet ligger på den flotte strandlinjen i Miami Beach. Til andre ungdommer vil jeg anbefale å heller booke et hotell noe nærmere Southbeach, men taxiregningen kommer ikke på så mye mer enn $20 en vei. Til Ft. Lauderdale […] Airport koster det ca $70 en vei. Hyggelige hotellansatte. Heisene i hotellet er forresten svært trege, man må belage seg å vente en del. Das Hotel liegt weit vom Zentrum (Ocean Drive) entfernt (ca. 20 Autominuten), es fährt jedoch auch ein Bus, der nach 45 Minuten das Zentrum erreicht. Fora o problema do horário do check in, fomos cobrados imediatamente pelo uso do estacionamento. Pagamos em dinheiro e recebemos apenas o cartão do estacionamento, nenhum comprovante. Não consegui fazer uma ligação local do quarto, pois não registramos nenhum cartão de crédito no check in (só descobri após verificar qual era o problema). No check out, […] fomos cobrados novamente pelo estacionamento (que havia pago em dinheiro). Após alguma conversa com a outra funcionária e com o gerente, a taxa foi estornada. O funcionário que recebeu o dinheiro não se encontrava no momento para elucidar a questão. No geral a estadia foi bastante agradável. O hotel é muito bem localizado. Na beira da praia, com uma piscina ótima. Os quartos são amplos e simples, mas bastante satisfatórios. O ar condicionado funcionou perfeitamente, assim como os chuveiros.
