"Extremely Disappointed"
Service less than average starting with a poor valet service at check in which turned out to be a disaster when we found out that quarters left in the car were gone missing! Not a big deal in terms of money but does say a lot about the level of service!! The hotel is not filthy but it isn't clean either. It could use a thorough cleaning with attention to detail. It is close to needing a renovation. I wouldn't stay here again. "Relaxed, friendly and well positioned!"
The hotel is right in the centre of the action, close to shops and next to the beach. This was ideal for our short break over the New Year. The hotel itself is a bit tired in places, a lick of paint is needed to brighten it up. The noise levels are quite bad due to thin walls and lack of double glazing but nothing that a set of ear plugs cant fix. There […] was also some noise from surrounding hotels but this being the holiday season this was only to be expected. Our rooms were cleaned daily and fresh towels provided. The complimentary breakfast is basic but more than adequate - juice, coffee, pastries, cereals, yoghurts, fruit and cooked meats. Most hotels in this area would charge you extra for this but at the South Seas it is included. The pool area is nice, but needs some refurbishing, the fitness room has a treadmill and bike! The hammocks are a nice touch and there are sunbeds on the beach and a small drinks stand! Beach towels are also provided so you dont need to pack them! The pool bar is very relaxed and has a happy hour, drinks are not badly priced(for Miami Beach) and the food is really good. A great selection of snacks and meals at reasonable prices. The very best thing about this hotel is the staff. All the people we came into contact with were very friendly and helpful. Reception were very well informed and able to advise us about transportation and various other queries we raised. Miami Beach itself is a place that doesnt wake up till late morning. shops generally dont open before 11 but they do stay open late. Lincoln Rd, Collins Ave, Washington Ave all have a good selection of shops. If you are looking for designer wear you need to go to Bal Harbour shopping centre - its amazing!!! For designer clothes at outlet prices jump on a bus to Dolphin Mall, its much cheaper!!! "EJ PRISVÄRT"
Rummet var mkt litet, fuktigt och en konstig doft fanns närvarande konstant. Badrummet var så litet att dörren till badrummet endast kunde stängas om toalettsitsen fälldes upp. Poolens reningssystem var trasigt och det flöt snor, saliv och hårrester i poolen. Poolkillen försökte förgäves och förklarade att systemet var trasigt. Vi och andra gäster påtalade […] detta för managern men fick ingen som helst respons eller återkoppling på 4 dagar. Hotellet är gammal och slitet, mkt tunna vägga och gungande golv som skapade en oerhört lyhörd situation. Personalen var oengagerad och informerade inte oss att vi kunde få rabatterade solstolar mm på stranden. Vi fick reda på detta när vi checkade ut. Se upp med Valet parking då denna ej drivs av hotellet utan av fristående företag. Hotellet har därmed inget ansvar för hyrbil. Det tog ca 20 minuter att få ut sin bil. Mycket bra hotel prisvärt och bra läge vid stranden. Ca 5 min gångavstånd till oceandrive och deckoart området. Hotellet har perfekt beliggenhet på South Beach med egen utgang direkte til stranda hvor de har egne solsenger osv. Greit svømmebasseng som er ca 1 meter dypt i den grunne enden (ikke for veldig små barn altså). Helt grei standard på rommene som nok var litt små for en familie på fire. For et par helt perfekt. Die Zimmer sind schmutzig, die Einrichtung sehr alt und der Geruch seltsam. Kommt wohl aus dem alten Teppichboden der überall verlegt ist. Der Pool ist eklig und wird nicht richtig gereinigt . "Perfecte locatie voor South Beach"
We kwamen om 11 AM toe in het hotel en konden al inchecken. Personeel was vriendelijk en voortdurend zag je mensen die bezig waren met het onderhoud van het hotel. Отель замечательный! Отдыхали в начале января с 2-мя детьми.Месторасположение очень удобное-Линкольн роад рядом, Коллинз- в начале всего интересного. Роскоши в отеле не найдете, но все что нужно есть-чистые номера с удобными кроватями, чистые полотенца и банные принадлежности, халаты,фен, сейф,утюг/доска, плазма. Убирались каждый день в наше отсутствие, […] очень старательно. Насекомых-не встречали. Сначала смутило отсутствие балкона, но потом мы поняли, что это может и к лучшему-спали хорошо,шум не беспокоил, несмотря на то что в туалете на ночь открывали форточку. Достаточно хороший завтрак-нам это было важно из-за детей. Каша,мюсли,яйца,сыры, ветчина, круасаны, йогурты и соевое молоко, обычное тоже, много фруктов, соки, чай-кофе, детский шок.напиток, может еще что. Вай-фай бесплатно, везде, пляжные полотенца выдают у бассейна, очень милые работники отеля. Бассейн с морской водой, подогреваемый, что очень порадовало. Vi var ett sällskap om 6 personer som var fördelat på 3 rum. Hotelets allmänna kvalitet var OK. Stora fördelen var hög service och närhet till allt. Hotelets poolområde var mycket bra. Poolen är uppvärmd och håller ca 24 grader. Mysig trädgård med hängmattor. Vi använde den ganska ofta och började några kvällar där. Närheten till havet var optimal och […] man kunde hyra solstolar, kostnad mellan $5-10/st. Rabattkopung erhålles från hotellet. Nära till Ocean Drive och Lincon Road. Allt inom promenadavstånd. Bil behövs om man skall shoppa på de större affärscentra, spela golf och utflykter. Perkeringsservice kostar ca $307dag. Då kunde man lämna och hämta bilen vilken tid på dugnet och obegränsat antal gånger. Frukost ingick men höll ganska låg standard. Höll på med att byta ut alla heltäckningsmattor. behövdes.
