"Awesome for the price"
Very good for a family to stay,quiet neighborhood and if you stay ocean front even better. This is not a 5 star hotel but it has everything...nice swiming pool and a tiki bar and you just have to walk a 100ft to the beach. Needed major repairs. Bathroom was patched up, crumbling rotting out boards, very old fixtures, disgusting. Mattresses were old and uncomfortable. Several surrounding buildings were deserted and ready for tear down (felt like ours was to be next on the list so why bother?). Great location in that we were on the boardwalk, on the beach. The towels and […] sheets were clean. Was given the impression when booking that it was close to South beach...it was not. Parking was across the street and very expensive...once your car was in there...don't attempt to take it out. No one offered any information on transportation services to south beach. "Get what you pay for, but great value."
The hotel has an excellent entry with VERY good customer service and front desk personnel. Concierge desk was VERY helpful, as well. Great location next to the beach, but not much else within walking distance of the hotel unless you walk down the boardwalk. The rooms were dated, but clean and confortable. Bathroom was very small and difficult to place […] personal belongings. My sister had adjoining room and they had issues with A/C and shower heads. However, my room had no issues. Walls between rooms were thin as we found out at 5:00 am when the late-night bar crowd came back to the hotel, still in the modd to party. WORST HOTEL EVER... I booked a Oceanside room only to have a window view of there furnace. The bed had a cigarette hole in the comforter and the service was terrible. The elevator took 10 minutes just to get to our floor (4th). My family and I were there for a total of about 15 minutes and checked out and into another hotel. Wow! I should of listened to the reviews! The lobby was the only thing updated in this hotel. The elevators were old and barely functional. I got stuck in it. Horrible experience. We booked the room far more ahead before the stay. It turned to be the room was not available when we arrived, so, we ended up being put into another room with a window facing the roof and nailed up. The conditioner was loud and cold even at the lowest setting. We travelled in a group of five: nobody offered an additional bed. There is only one elevator, […] so you have to wait endlessly. Ligger en bit från centrum på Miami beach. Foajén ser ut som normal standard men rummen är riktigt nedgångna. Det går inte att öppna fönstret, heltäckningsmattan är nog kvar från 70-talet. Undrar vad som finns i den... Lakanen verkade rena så man fick hålla sig i sängen. Vi var naturligtvis inte så mycket på rummen så vi överlevde. Man vänjer sig som […] barnen sa. Bara en hiss fungerade så man fick vänta länge. Valde trappan istället. Poolområdet var bra även om de höga husen runtomkring ibland skuggar. Läget precis vid stranden och strandpromenaden var jättebra. Vi valde detta hotell för dess närhet till havet. Härlig strandpromenad och nära beachen. Helt ok poolområde! Frukost ingick, alltid en fördel i USA. Alles ist auf ein Minimum beschränkt. Wir sind viel in den USA herum (ganze Ostküste von Anapolis bis Key West) gekommen, aber nirgends musste man: - für das Frühstück extra bezahlen (14 Dollar für ein generell in den USA fürchterliches Frühstück), - waren die Lifte permanent defekt, -wurde für den Safe, ob man ihn nun benutzt hat oder nicht standardmäßig […] Kohle pro Tag kassiert, -war das Personal an der Rezeption so unfreundlich, -war die Klimaanlage derart laut, -musste man für Schirme und Liegen am Strand extra 20 Dollar pro Tag löhnen, -waren die Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe so nicht vorhanden, - gab es KEINEN KÜHLSCHRANK AM ZIMMER, -gab es keine Mikrowelle am Zimmer (was echt Standard in den USA ist),-deaktivierten sich die Schlüsselkarten fürs Zimmer tatsächlich täglich -> Wir würden dort sicher nicht mehr buchen!!!!! Passamos nossos primeiros 2 dias de Viajem neste hotel para seguir para orlando, a localização é ótima e pé na areia, localizado na principal avenida de Miami Beach, o que eles dizem parte Art Deco, localização de hoteis tombados pelo patrimoniio historico delá, por isso alguns viajantes em seus comentarios reclamam de cheiro de mofo, mas é normal e […] não é tanto quanto falam, pois eles são antigos mas charmosos, se quizerem novos tem que procurar outro que não seja art deco. O problema é estacionamento que é realmente dificil de encontrar mas não impossível, como estou passeando, andar um pouco e ir conhecendo a paisagem, os edificios e o entorno é até um prazer, vale a pena, o que não valeu a pena é tomar café da manhã no hotel, pois custa 12 dolares por pessoa mais o TAX (imposto) de 7%, gastei total de 78 dolares no cafe para 5 pessoas. recomendo o hotel.
